The Dahlonega Visitors Center is a great place for visitors. It is located on the square with a free parking lot behind it. The staff is always friendly, great, and very polite. They know a lot about local attractions, lodging, food, and fun things to do. They offer a wide selection of useful maps and pamphlets. They also provide information on local activities, like finding the cute tiny bear statues placed around town. The building has public restrooms that are clean, well-maintained, and a noted plus. Dahlonega itself is a very clean, quaint little town with great restaurants and great shopping, offering a welcomed change.
