Affordable and great quality! Came in two days before my wedding and got a spray tan. Was nervous to not do a trial tan prior but turned out perfectly! 10/10 recommend!

Been going there 5 yrs really enjoyed it but always break thru winter and start back in march (been doing that for years) and started back 2 weeks and was never told of any changes paid what I thought was my normal membership and laid 3 times in just 2 weeks and went in like normal to be told I can’t lay and I had to pay 94$ again because they charge on 15 and when ask about pro rated like normal they claim they did and they charged me a start up fee but used my normal membership I always did and that the full price was a start up!! And when brought to the attention that the last time I laid I was holding my account and usually they stop charging but this time they didn’t. Charged me from Oct-Feb when ask about that they tell me nothing they can do! I can’t even lay till the 94 is paid again…… always thought highly of the owners they use to be so welcoming. But guess money changed them. As a business owner i definitely would be looking into changing the communication between my paying customers and new charges. Will definitely take all measures to make sure no one lose out on 600$ like I did. Crazy to believe that this company treats you this way but definitely will make a drive to somewhere else not to have this happen again. Horrible customer service

Called yesterday to see if there was somebody who could do a spray tan later that afternoon. Was told no for today but the next day there would be somebody there to do it. Made an appointment for the next day and when I showed up I was told the girl who was going to be doing it gave her shift to another worker who could not do it. Very unprofessional and was told to travel to another location last minute.

Good place to tan! If you can catch them with the doors unlocked.. currently sitting outside of their Dawsonville location during posted (on the door) open hours and the open sign off and they’re cleaning. It’s 8:36 and they close at 9:00. Ridiculous.
Update:went to the door again (@ 8:40) when the worker returned to the front desk. She unlocked the door and told me they close at 8:00 this week “because it’s spring break”… was not posted about this weeks updated hours.

I paid for this and have tried on several times to go on the weekends during their posted "open hours" and they are never open. Please update your website to reflect TRUE hours and clear your "full" mailbox so we can leave a message. Hours on line and on the door say 12-4 on Sunday, I have yet to see open on a Sunday. I would like a refund because you are never open when I go by "during supposedly open hours".

I have used Sun Tan Dahlonega intermittently over the past 4 years as I was a college student in the area. The tanning beds and spray tans are pretty good and I've always been happy with the service. However, the past two times I've went in for spray tans, there have been some issues. Two months ago I called the Dahlonega location to schedule a spray tan for a wedding and Nicole answered the phone. She was very kind and recommended I come in a day or two before the wedding. I chose a day and time when there would be someone working who could spray, but when I arrived for my appointment, the staff member said she could not give spray tans on her own yet. I explained to her that I scheduled the appointment on the phone with Nicole, so the staff member called Nicole right then and there and was shocked to learn she was now able to give her first solo spray tan. I'm not sure if there was lack of communication or what, but it wasn't the most settling feeling knowing I would be this girl's first solo spray. I had no other option, but to be sprayed that night, so she went ahead and prepped the room. Thankfully, another staff member came back to help, but between both girls taking turns spraying, it was not one of the better spray tans I had. It wasn't horrible, but certainly not the best. Fast forward to several days ago, I called to schedule a spray tan at the Dawsonville location for an upcoming beach trip. I was told there was no need to make an appointment as there would be someone available to spray anytime between 3:00-8:00pm and I could just walk in. I called once again the day of to confirm this, and was told the same thing - no need to make an appointment, just walk in anytime between those hours. I arrive that evening around 7:30pm and when I asked for a spray tan, the staff member said she actually traded shifts with the girl who sprays. I was surprised by this and explained to her what I was told over the phone, but she said she was sorry that they swapped and that I wouldn't be able to get a spray tan that night. I'm sure she could sense some of my frustration as she reluctantly changed her mind and said she stopped giving spray tans a while ago, but she could do it. She was very nice and from what I can tell as of now, did a decent job. The staff are all very nice and helpful with tanning advice, but I would just recommend to triple check spray tan scheduling / appointments. I would hate for anyone to get stuck in a bind as I almost have the past two times. I'm sure I'll be back for spray tans in the future, but will make sure to have a backup plan and to confirm multiple times the days before and day of the appointment.
