I walked in and there was two tellers that was busy and a third teller came up and called me up. She is great. I didn't have to wait 30 seconds to be waited on.

Awesome Bank, been with them for 20 years, on 2 separate occasions they went above and beyond to take care of my problems. Would highly recommend them.

Bad online banking. No smart ATMs and now they've gotten big enough to where they don't treat your well anymore. I just closed my account I've had for 28 years because they treat you like a bank number now and not a person.Reply: Why would I reach out to you? You should be reaching out to me. Passing the buck huh? I think that surmises the problem very nicely. If you were the bank that service built, you'd be reaching out to me directly. Everyone can easily see what I'm talking about by your response. Just another number. Your service is no better than Wells Fargo or any other big bank anymore. I might as well go there and enjoy perks you don't offer, like functional online banking. I was at the local branch when I closed my accounts. No one tried to stop me. I was easily able to qualify for a similar loan with a real bank the very next day. Why would I reach out to my local bank? In other words, what is the advantage of staying with you? I see none. You can easily email me directly if you want. Better than passing the buck.

I am a happy and grateful customer when it comes to United Community, but this one in Dahlonega really gave my wife and me a hard time. Prior to an out of country trip, we went to the bank and got a travel advisory. We thought everything was squared away, since they told us it was, but when we tried to use our cards, they were declined. Strike 1. Luckily, I received a text where I could confirm that this was in fact a valid purchase. I responded as instructed and then received a second text saying that I could use my card. However, once again, it declined. Strike 2. I then went on my app to have a live chat with a representative, and after submitting a form along with my social, they finally said that I was good to go. I went to the register for the third time, and it declined. Strike 3. And so went any memorabilia and souvenirs for our honeymoon. Once we got to the airport, my wife’s card was miraculously approved to check our bag in, but since there was still hours before our flight, we were in search of a meal. After waiting in a busy airport Wendy’s line, we were told our card declined. I had previously tried calling UC’s customer service number but got nowhere, so my wife tried calling directly to Dahlonega’s representative. Once finally getting ahold of someone, my wife was treated rather poorly, but at least after withstanding all the frustration, her card was activated as it should’ve been a week prior. Moral of the story, either one, drive the extra distance to Clermont or Cleveland to do your United Community banking. Or two, leave your card at home and bring a surplus of cash when traveling internationally.

Wish they would hire more or help people faster on Fridays. Been in the drive through going on 30 minuets so far and still four cars away from the window.

Very rude and unhelpful if you've lost you debit card on a weekend your stuck until a weekday. The staff person literally walked away and refused further help. You cannot get a replacement card since they refuse to allow you inside anymore and make you use the drive thru. You either have to order one online or wait until Monday and not all jobs are compatible with banking hours. I was incredibly disappointed in this because they used to be wonderful, they would just print a permeant card right there even smart cards. They basically hold your own money hostage.

One of the worst banks to work with. They allow you $400 atm withdrawals and will not raise it. It’s nice to not have access to my money.
