“This was our fourth time visiting Forrest Hills and it was wonderful. Previously we have always stayed in the same Cupid cabin and always loved our stays, but this time we were in a Lovebird cabin (Lovebird 2) and it was an even better experience.
The cabin was gorgeous. The cabin smelled so divine when we arrived that we ordered the reeds they were using before we even headed home. The service throughout our stay was fantastic. The breakfasts were delicious. I am possibly getting her name wrong but Peggy (?) should teach a masterclass in making the perfect grits. Shelly or Sherri, our waitress on the final evening of our stay, was a complete delight!
Highly recommend eating out at least one evening at Spirits and Bourbon Street. Amazing experiences at both. At resort, highly recommend eating in the Secret Garden Dining Room for couples and ordering Chicken Alfredo, the fried chicken dinner, Caesar salad with grilled chicken, and the pretzel.
If you drive into Helen, GA, recommend doing the mountain coaster. A blast!”

“The Dahlonega Square Hotel is lovely and quaint. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is perfect to visit and explore this adorable village. The wine served in the property bar was very good. The staff was very accommodating! The town is happy!!”
