A couple of things bothered me about this place. Used them because of their proximity to my house and they were on my insurance list of companies to see. Lesson learned. From the get-go they were telling me that the paint match might not be exact because of the manufacturer paint color I have. That turned out to be the least of the concerns.
A deer hit the passenger side door of my car and put a huge dent in it. I expected the dent to be repaired at least. When I got my vehicle back, you could still see indentation on the door, not as bad as it had been, but not a full repair. They insisted that that had to do with the paint and the shade and the sunlight and was an optical illusion. I took my car to two other places for an opinion on whether it was still dented or not, and got confirmation that it was in fact still dented.
On the interior of my vehicle a small part that is in the recess of the door handle kept popping off whenever the door handled was pulled. When I returned to have that piece inspected, they just reattached it like my husband and I had done several times since getting the car back they said if it came off again to let them know, and they would order another part. As expected, it came off again, and I had to make another trip back with the broken part. Turns out there was a piece that was snapped off. a small clip, barely visible, which was likely broken when the piece was removed during the door work. Similarly, one of the trim pieces around the rear tire, was not sitting flush to the vehicle. Another part had to be reordered for that.
Getting back to the dent, after they told me that they could not repair the dent any further they recommended a dent service. The proprietor of that service was very forthcoming about the nature of my dent, and how they are generally repaired. He said that he would do the best he could, but in his opinion, to fix it, it would have to be completely redone. The shop was not willing to do this, but they were willing to pay him to try his hand at the dent. He was able to make a significant improvement, but the idea that it took so long to convince them that there was still a dent there and it was not a matter of shadows was infuriating.
There were some minor scratches on the rear quarter panel as well, That required some buffing and new paint. The paint along the edge of the trim is chipping off and it has been 18 months since the work was done.
They gaslight their customers and they don’t really do a great job, or stand behind their work. In addition to inconveniencing customers with repeated trips back to their business to get things closer to right. Go anywhere else but this place.

I had an exceptional experience at Gerber Collision and Glass! From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Tommy took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all my questions with patience. She made sure I understood everything about the repairs. I was really impressed with how quickly and efficiently they worked to get my car back in great shape. Sam also had amazing customer service and communication. He kept me informed about the progress of repairs. It’s rare to find such a dedicated team that genuinely cares about their customers. I left feeling confident in their expertise and incredibly satisfied with the service I received.

If you use this location, pay with a credit card. My husband paid our deductible with a check. When he was looking over his bank statement a few days later, he noticed the 500.00 check had cleared the bank and in addition, they electronically took out 500.00 dollars, for a total of 1,000.00. He called Gerber and spoke to the manger, who told him there was nothing she could do, he would have to call the office in Canada but if he had the bank return the 500.00 electronically, they would turn him over to a collection agency. My husband immediately called our bank and they told him the check had cleared the bank and the only way to get the 500.00 back was electronically. The bank did verify that Gerber made two withdrawals. So now, we’ve been turned over to a collection agency, for paying our deductible one time, which was what was owed them. My husband called and left numerous messages with the manger, who did not return ANY of his calls. He went in the office today, and she informed him there was nothing she could do. It seems they are trying to scam money out of their clients. The body work was fine but not worth having to deal with unprofessional people that obviously do not care about customer service. What a headache!! We will not use them again!

My adult daughter had the wreck in my car. While they were fixing it, yhey kept calling me when I was out of state. I told them 3 times to call my daughter, who could take care of it (she's in her 40s!). She, herself, told them that several times. But they kept calling me. Gerber replaced the front door, and I had to take it back because our wasn't closing right. All that said, other than the irritation factor, Gerber did a good job, and the employees were very nice. I would be fine using them again, but my 1st choice in this area is Finish Pros

Safety is our main priority. Client care and perspective speaks volume. Jeff definitely reassured us we were heard and valued. We greatly appreciate the intentional extension of client care. Dallas Georgia location is horrible. Their quotes are off point. New estimate at another Gerber was $800 higher. Scheduling is at best wrong. I confirmed the appointment a week prior to show up and I was not on the schedule. I left and had the whole thing moved to another Gerber in Duluth Ga. 49 miles away from home that was 5 miles. I gave 2 stars to incitivise improvement or close up shop. This franchise is suffering. Constantly looking for employees.
