We are beyond satisfied with the care The Sunshine House Dallas is providing our babies. The staff is nurturing, the facility is safe, and they provide engaging activities for the kids. I appreciate the open communication and the peace of mind we have knowing our babies are in good hands. Highly recommended!Much Love & Appreciation,The McDonald Family ?

If I could leave 0 stars I would. We moved from Smyrna to Dallas in September so I looked for a GA pre k program closer to home. My son went on the wait list in October and was "next in line" since the end of December. Up until school ended I still had to drive my son to Smyrna. I put him on the waitlist for summer camp as well and here we are 3 weeks after school has been done and I am still having to drive my son to Smyrna. I know they can't control what space they have but they are also TERRIBLE at answering the phone and giving a call back. At this point I much rather make that hour drive than to constantly have to call and feel ignored! I had put him on the list for afterschool care for when he enters Kindergarten and now I have looked elsewhere and will be using another care center.

2022 update: I’m not sure what happened with this facility in the last two years but communicate has significantly declined. I’ve left 4 voicemails over the course of two weeks and have yet to receive a call back. I was looking to continue care at Sunshine House for after school but starting to reconsider. They never answer the phone and don’t return voicemails.2018 review:Four stars- Ms.Deanna and Ms. Jordan are outstanding teachers! The afternoon staff is also great and Ms. Emily, the director, has always been very kind.Communication is spot on! They have their own app that you can download and receive updates about your child’s day. They never miss a day! Multiple pictures of your child throughout the day and a summary of breakfast, lunch, and snake is included.Although the teachers are amazing the facility does have its flaws. The food is not the best and security isn’t very strict. For example, one day my child was picked up by my sister. This is somebody that the staff never met or seen. I was glad that Ms.Jordan asked to see ID from my sister to confirm that my child was leaving the class with an adult on his pick up list. However, my sister made it all the way to the back of the building without anybody in the front stopping her.I consider that very unsafe. Also, it is common for the door to be left open for others to come in without entering a code. This is a polite act of kindness but, makes it very easy for the wrong person to get into the building.Great facility. Awesome staff!! Enforcing safety measures and creating a better breakfast/lunch menu would make Sunshine House even better.

I am so heart broken... My son seemed to always have issues they said he wouldn't listen and yes my kid is hyper but the things they would say he did was behavior we never seen him do at home and now that we have left we have had MULTIPLE staff members who are no longer there seek us out and say that these people would hold my son down. And put him in leg locks while he sat there and cried.... NO WOUNDER HE STARTED ACTING CRAZY.....He no longer attends sunshine house because we moved but if I would have known what I know now we would have left a long time ago.

My child attend this facility during a school break. The staff seemed friendly but during that time, witnessed some alarming behavior with staff towards kids. Addressed this with the Director. My kid informed me he was often picked on by a teacher and isolated from other children and given hard looks. I was never informed about him mis-behaving The director addressed this matter within a week or so but no child no mattter what race should ever be mistreated. The issue was addressed with the teacher.

My son LOVES it here! Everyone is so friendly. At first my son was scared to go to preschool but his teachers Miss Deanna and Miss Jordan made him feel great. Now he loves going! Emily the director is so nice. Everyone there is super great with the kids from what I’ve seen and I’ve always thought it was a clean facility. I am definitely planning on enrolling my other son when he is old enough for preschool.

My daughter has been enrolled in the infant room for about 3 months now and we could not be happier. She loves going to school and "playing" with the other kids. We love keeping up with her day on the app as well as seeing the pictures of her on there as well. The teachers are all very warm and nurturing. I feel like they truly care about my baby. The director is very open and honest. She has been able to answer all of my questions thoroughly.I feel like the center is priced competitively with similar centers near by. We love that diapers, wipes, and formula are included in the price. It really makes packing every morning easy!

My daughter has been attending Sunshine House (ages 1-4) since we moved to the Dallas area. The teachers are quite kind, and helpful, and I have no complaints. They not only do well in education/supervising, but have also worked with me and my family in regards to working together on some of the bigger milestones (e.g. potty training techniques and the like). The administration is also easy to work with, and overall understanding.

People are great pricing is horrible!! They only give 3 times/year where you are only charged half price if your child is not there for the week.(there are more than 3 weeks of breaks for school) After the 3 times they will charge you full price no matter what and if you send your child there (since you are already having to pay) you get charged even more than full price. I understand being charged half price to hold the spot but they should not charge full price. Some of us are unable to work when school is out as our jobs coincide with the school schedule. It's like The Sunshine House is punishing you for not being able to send your child there and then still punishing you if you do send your child there during the school breaks!!! This is why I will be taking my child out soon and going elsewhere.

It's a place my daughter goes to every day of the week to learn, she cares about her teachers and they care about her. She is learning more than just academics, she is growing emotionally and building relationships. It is a micro environment of wonderful events. Love it!

The Sunshine House in Dallas GA is absolutely wonderful! My son is in the pre-K program there and he loves it. At the beginning of the school year he was at another school and was just not opening up because it wasn't a good fit. Thankfully we switched to the Sunshine House and we were welcomed with open arms. He slowly opened up and has been excited to go everyday since he started. I love Mrs. Jordan and Mrs. Deana because they create a safe and fun learning environment for the kids. The entire staff is always smiling and helpful so it just feels like a second home for my son. Special thanks to Mrs. Emily for being so kind and helpful the first time I called inquiring about the school. It is what led me to switch my son there. Thanks Sunshine House!

My son has been going here since he was two months old and i could not say enough good things about them. They have always gone above and beyond. From the moment you walk into the door until the moment you leave they are welcoming, kind and so sweet. I love everyone here. My son is happy to get there everyday and even will reach for the teachers which tells me that he loves them and they take amazing care of him. As we all know little ones are bound to scratch themselves and each other. When this happens the sunshine house reaches out to us and lets us know what has happened right away. They also let you know how his day went and if he seems fussy or if something doesn't seem quite right about how he is acting. I am so glad to have found someone so caring to watch my son. Thank you Sunshine House!!
