So far so good. They are new to our area and I am so glad to have a Credit Union alternative to the banks.

Lacks customer service. They only have Monday through Friday hours. No weekend services and no emergency service to get issues resolved. I remote deposited a check Friday shortly after 5:00 p.m. it is now Tuesday I still have no access to my funds and have had bills due that I needed to access my work check. It's a paycheck! From a reputable local business! But it was after 5:00 when I deposited on Friday they have no Saturday hours! And then Monday is a holiday so even though I even tried to put a question in through the contact Services I got no response and cannot access my funds. For a bank handling people's money that needs to be accessed I would think that there was at least a number that could be called at least until sometime at night to access situations and a weekend number for at least some number of hours but literally nothing. This is hard for me to do business this way so I will be having to look for another bank because I simply cannot have my money in limbo when I've got bills to pay. My creditors don't want to to hear that I have plenty of money tied up in my bank I just can't access it!

They're a joke I have an auto loan through them and have shown proof of payments yet somehow the money isn't there. This isn't the first time I've had trouble with them. They keep changing their minds on their policies and how things are supposed to be. Then when you call and set up things with them or arrangements they turn around and change it on you. It's recorded! If so then listen to your recordings. I've constantly gotten the run around time and time again. If your financing through them find somewhere else, anywhere else. Also I wouldn't bank their either if they can't keep on top of their auto loans I would hate to see how they treat their banking customers!

This review is due to the change in policy regarding their checking accounts as another has mentioned. They now charge you $25 a month for an inactive account. It doesn't matter if you have checks coming and going, have direct deposit or use your debit card 9 times. If you don't use it at least ten times or keep $175 in your account, you will be charged $25 a month for an "inactive account". But, the biggest reason is, I withdrew some money and she counted out the amount I asked for but when I looked at my account online they had taken out $500 more than I asked for and received. Shame on you CCVU.

A bunch of thieves. I started this account with Northwest Ga credit Union. When Coosa Valley took over, they started stealing my money for inactive fees even though I was depositing money. I have lost emergency savings through them, and they will not refund the fees. Stay away if you value your cash!

Well, now they are charging 25.00 per account if it qualifies for what they determine to be an inactive account. I use this account every month. It's not my primary account but money goes in and out. Note to the board of directors. You better wake up. You may be getting lots of fees up front but when people pull out of the credit union you want have any fees to get. Then when fewer people come in there will be no need for employees. You ladies and guys may need to start looking today. All the reviews before mine are accurate for the people reading about CVCU. One last thought, this credit union and Northwest Georgia credit union was founded on helping the average to low income working family. Now it seems the vision is to get rid of this class of people that got them to where they are today. The management seems to want only very wealthy individuals. Thanks for reading.

Customer service is difficult. Not the same since it changed. Seems like no one wants to help you. You would think being a LOCAL credit union they would be more willing to help the people of their community. Plan on changing.

I never had problems until Coosa bought out my former credit union. Now I've had nearly $100 in tax penalties because this credit union can't decide if my account number starts with 3 additional digits or not. Why I would have to use one acct number for a checking account and a different number for the exact same account when I pay a bill online through ACH is beyond me and something that NO OTHER bank does. But regardless, my tax payments were rejected no matter which account number I used because each time Coosa Valley told the tax office that my account does not exist, despite me having deposits and withdrawals from it daily. Coosa won't stand by their service or any answers that they've given me so no sense in trying to get my tax penalties reimbursed from them. I hate to give up on a small town business but this credit union has proven to me more than once that it doesn't know what it's doing. I'm moving my business to a large national credit union that knows how to process online payments.

I loved Northwest Georgia Credit Union for over 10 years. The new bank they have merged into takes money from you using "hidden fees" with no justification. As of last week they have stolen $70 from me and no one has tried to do anything to refund me. I have spoken to 3 people without any success

Terrible customer service from the loan department. The loan officers do not even know or understand how their own website operates. I was given the run around and all I wanted to do was make a payment on my car loan and have it noted on my account today. Terrible!
