I went to this location after losing my dog of 17 years. My husband drove me an hour to this location to see a sweet cavapoo who I took home. It wasn’t even three hours later that this poor baby needed to be taken to the ICU because he couldn’t keep water or food down. I tried to take him to our regular vet but they said he wouldn’t survive the next 12 hours. He was in the ICU for a week, I spent 14 grand to save this puppy’s life because Petland sent him home to me with Giardia. The girl who sold me the pet said they have sick puppies all the time and Petland refused to help me with vet bills because I did not take him to their vet (I live over an hour away). DO NOT buy from this location. The mental and financial toll it will take on you is awful.

Thank you to Emory, Kate and all the other girls at the store they were all sooo sweet to us!!! Emory did such a good job at her job and her telling us it’s her first Job and has been there several weeks it amazed me how good she is with her job and the love she has for it. She was so great especially convincing my hubby for us to get the bunny (it was funny 🤭) she really is a sweet heart and i can see she is trying her best at her job. This is my first bunny bought at petland, i have bought manyyyy fishes there and have turned out amazing. But we are so happy to have this cute Baby Holland Lop Bunny with us at home, and she is already super spoiled ☺️

Yesterday was my daughters’ and I first experience at Petland of Dalton. Hands down my favorite pet store! The store was impressively clean and the staff was the best! Sarai & Lexus greeted us when we first walked in and continuously provided awesome service. We loved chatting with them and getting some hands on time with the animals. They know a lot about each animal that comes through, able to describe their personalities that will best fit our family, and provide the plans and after care of each pet. You can tell they really care about the animals and the families coming in. I would 100% recommend this store! Great experience and we will be back!

The staff at this store were such a help in getting my schnauzer. After almost getting scammed, it was such a relief to be able to speak with someone on the phone and then go and see the actual puppy I was getting. Theo is healthy and the staff helped me get all of things I didn’t even know I would need. I’m super ecstatic to add him to our family.

Everyone was so sweet and so very helpful!! They were honest with us while getting the dog we wanted. Alley was a huge help! She was so sweet I really appreciate her! They are a great store!! I recommend them!

The employees there are so nice and sweet...I had an appointment to look at a puppy b4 they opened...they let us in and took the time to show us some puppies...so happy I bought a puppy from there

Over 20 puppy breeds. They also had bunnies, ferrets, and several exotic birds. They were pricey but had packages convenient for first-time pet owners with financing available. Would have preferred to see more large-breed dogs, as we are large dog people but sounds like they get new puppies every week.

Gotten wonderful birds there that are hand tamed and raised by the management team
They have a wonderful bird section in their store for toys and food.
Pups are pricey, but I’ve gotten a couple there that have been SUPER! Wouldn’t trade them for the world. LOVE THEM 🥰

I love the place so much!!!!! I played with a cute dog and got to hold A ferret and hamsters and rabbits, and even a parakeet! It took one star off because me and my cousin were literally crying over not getting a hamster and dog!!!

Braelyn was amazing she went above and beyond when I called to check about a ferret, she was so amazing I drove almost 2 hours away just to purchase her. Great experience!

I really enjoy taking care of animals! The moment I walked in, everyone was SOO nice! All the dogs are precious, 🐶 and the people who work there are amazing. They always have such kind personalities, and the dogs are like little babies:) I love holding them! They’re all well cared for and the place is so clean and feels like home It’s very sanitized, and they provide hand sanitizer for you to use! It’s such a nice environment, and the hamsters, rabbits, and birds are adorable. The fish are really cool! And the dogs are all vaccinated <3 This has to be one of my favorite places! ❤️🫶🏻

PLEASE do not support this business whatsoever. This store deserves to shut down for how poorly they treat their animals. A literal dog prison. Puppies are kept by themselves in glass boxes with grate floors, no stimulation or toys, with nothing but a hamster-style water bottle. All of the dogs are visibly sick and all but 2 were curled up in a corner sleeping or shivering and trying to warm up. The company is also known to source from puppy mills which causes all these illnesses and defects. If you really want a dog, get one from a shelter, instead of paying $2000+ to a company that neglects their animals severely.

I am a rescue advocate but if they are an ethical breeder, there should be no problem sharing their breeder’s info and these puppies look terrified. That’s not normal. And for a Facebook page with 17K followers and only one or two likes on posts, is suspicious. I also know friends who have been blocked from their page for asking questions. Do NOT buy dogs from here. Go to your local shelter or find a breed specific rescue. Mixed tended to be healthier and they’re so appreciative!! Or consider fostering! Even a weekend helps and it’s one of the most rewarding experiences and communities ever to be a part of!
