The two sisters running this store are so sweet and patient! They allowed me to stay after close to keep trying dresses on and were quick and efficient in helping me get in and out of them. They suggested designers and dresses based on the style I liked and encouraged me to try some out of the box dresses too. It was my first stop in trying on gowns but I found several that I really love and would absolutely consider purchasing!

I am so excited to be a Whimsy bride! I had an amazing experience trying on wedding dresses. The store is so cute and intimate, you can tell there's been a lot of thought put into the way it feels. Katie and Wendy are so sweet and helpful! They know their dresses well and picked great options for me. I also liked that I along with my group could look through the racks as well. They were so patient with me and even stayed late. They went above and beyond and my experience exceeded my expectations. My friends and family loved the experience as well! I found the most beautiful dress and veil and I can't wait to wear it! Thank you so much for helping me!
Post wedding follow-up! I am forever grateful to Whimsy on Main for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! My dress came in and was absolutely stunning and my veil was the perfect addition! We also rented our groomsmen's suits from Whimsy and they fit so well and they all looked so handsome! I can't say enough good things about Katie and Wendy, they are the sweetest women and so kind! Thank you for the best experiences I could have asked for!

This store is a gem. I had an appointment at 10 AM on a Saturday (in July), and we had the entire store to ourselves. Wendy and Curry were a joy to spend time with. They were personable, funny, and truly made this experience even better! After introductions, chatting, and showing us to the bridal area, they provided me with small clips to clip to the dresses that I wanted to try on. We were free to go through all the dresses (I didn't feel pressured when browsing). Also, Wendy would pull recommendations during the try on when she could see a style I liked. After four previous bridal shops and feeling a bit discouraged, I finally found the one here at Wimsy on Main! Originally, I had planned to try to book an appointment at one of the bigger shops in Chatanooga, but they were all booked up. I am so glad they were, or I would've never driven to Dalton, GA, to visit this store. It truly was meant to be. I found Wimsy while browsing through Google. I reviewed their website/Instagram page and saw where they carried different designer dresses and seemed to have a good variety. At first, I was hesitant because it seemed like a smaller boutique (which I had been having no luck at prior) and felt like maybe I should try one of the 'big" bridal shops. I would've been missing out. So don't miss out! I highly recommend checking out this store. They carry a lot of pretty dresses (different styles, patterns, good quality and you can tell Wendy takes pride in what they have to offer) I also bought my veil! Wendy does a great job at pairing veil options to your dress. After saying YES, they celebrate with you, you get to sign their dress and they will take pictures of you and whoever you brought. So don't hesitate to make a trip and check them out!

I am so grateful that I discovered Whimsy on Main in my search for the perfect wedding dress. After driving over an hour to get there, I was thrilled to find my dream dress waiting for me. Wendy and Katie made my experience truly memorable with their warmth and genuine helpfulness. Despite coming alone, they made me feel incredibly welcomed and comfortable throughout the entire process.

This establishment is one that every Bride should visit before settling on your dress for your day! Wendy and Kelly are amazing!!!!!! They treat you like family and are very knowledgeable and loving!!!!! The Groom and Groomsmen had just as an amazing experience picking out their tuxes.

The sweet ladies at Whimsy are the best! They were incredibly patient and helpful with both of my daughter’s weddings. They made choosing the right attire for both occasions a pleasure. Alterations were spot on. I would highly recommend them to all!
