The facility is wonderful, clean, and shows that these animals are very loved. They do not accept walk-ins, so visitors must call to set up a time for adoption or volunteering. The staff, including experienced and caring team members, make the adoption process smooth and enjoyable. Many describe the staff as incredibly professional, caring, and helpful, often going beyond their duties. For a positive pet experience and compassionate service, McIntosh County Animal Services is highly recommended.

Wonderful staff. Nice facility. You can tell these animals are very loved.
Always needing volunteers to come interact with the dogs and cats.
They do not accept walk in.
So to adopt or volunteer you must call to set up a time and day.

for $50 we got the sweetest puppy and healthy. They people that work here are incredible people who love the animals that they work with. I will always check here first if and when I need another pet in our family. Thank you so much for one of the best pet experiences ❤️.
