Mark's Melon Patch has grown from a small roadside watermelon stand in 1981 to a flourishing retail farmer's market and 90-acre farm. The business now grows a wide variety of produce, including strawberries, peanuts, pumpkins, cantaloupes, tomatoes, squash, okra, sweet corn, and watermelons. The business offers popular seasonal events, such as Spring Strawberry and Fall Pumpkin Field Trips, as well as an annual Fall Festival every October. Customers can find a wide range of products, from fresh produce to canned items, jellies, sauces, beans, and sweets. The business also has nice bathrooms and a play area for children. Customers describe Mark's Melon Patch as a "quaint roadside stop" with a "wide variety of food for sale," including pecans, jellies, jams, salsa, and hot food. The business is known for its delicious boiled peanuts and offers a nostalgic experience, with customers returning year after year to pick out pumpkins and enjoy the seasonal activities.
10/10 i really liked the cowboy cookie. the play area was awesome. great for a stop on a road trip. the white goat with crazy horns was very sweet and the pig was HUGE! Like I've never seen one so big it was insane.
