Half Price Books is a popular store known for its wide selection of discounted books and collectibles. Customers appreciate the clean and well-organized layout, making browsing easy. The store offers a variety of sections, including hobby books, American fiction, history, science, kids, philosophy, yoga, and more, all kept neatly segregated. Many visitors find great value in the used books, often finding their dream books at reasonable prices, especially since the store sells both to and from the public. The collection includes not only books but also video games, comics, music, and other collectibles, providing a diverse shopping experience.
Parking is plentiful, and staff members are generally friendly and helpful, ready to assist with inquiries. Shoppers recommend asking staff for help to find specific interests. The store's concept of allowing customers to buy and sell makes it appealing for those looking to resell or find good deals. The store also features a good children's section, ideal for gifting to babies, new parents, and growing readers.
However, some note that the selection at this particular location is not as extensive as other Half Price Books stores they have visited. Additionally, the store can be quiet and somewhat noisy at times, with a few staff members displaying micro-managing behavior, which may affect the shopping atmosphere for some. Overall, it is a recommended spot for book lovers and bargain hunters alike.
Their prices for buyback does vary but are always very fair. They have great used books and genres for every age. They also have music/records and games. I highly recommend visiting Half priced books, their staff are amazing.
