This is my go to package (liquor) store. They have many good brands and the prices are reasonable. It's a hopping location, there are always cars in the parking lots there are many regulars.

Mane, I seldom rate liquor stores low but Hal’s is like a pretty social media girl but when you meet her in person, she is so twisted! Hal’s probably got the best IG page in all of Atlanta for liquor stores. The store is located at the corner of Memorial and Columbia Drive. When I say, it’s the hub for folks with addiction and bad relationships with alcohol, I’m not embellishing. The store is located in the middle of downtrodden and gentrification. I have checked out the spot 3 times and the last time I witnessed a customer fighting and spitting on an employee. Com’on mane, it was so bad that the store had to call Dekalb PD. Now the store is clean and filled with all the staples: cognac, tequila, vodka, whiskey, bourbon, champagne, wine and beer. But in the parking lot, broken glass, homeless, and a concrete jungle. It is surrounded by old dilapidated buildings and poverty. But you will never know from IG! The owner is nice and will make you feel like it’s the best store in the metro. Their specialty is getting allocated bourbon and giving you points for each purchase. Each quarter they have high end Pappy, Woodford, Mitchers, etc available for purchase but you have to have enough points to come in and purchase allocated items stashed for their big event. With that, I would recommend this liquor store if you live in the area or comfortable shopping in the hood.

The prices were great, the cashier was speedy, and the selections were extensive. I would've given five stars but the outside of the store is very dingy. The area is run down and the store's outward appearance reflects that.
