I entered this establishment excited for the night ahead of me. As soon as I walked in, I was met with terrible service. The man working the counter was disrespectful and ignored me when I asked if they had what I was looking for. I ended up not being able to find what I came in for, so I settled for a case of Bud Light and some shooters. The entire time I was in the store, I felt an off-vibe in the establishment I went to go purchase my items and I was met with more blatant disrespect. The man said I was not old enough (I am 46.) No one has ever told me this and quite frankly I have not been ID in over 20 years. Once I showed him my ID, he reluctantly sold me the products. To conclude my experience, when I walked out I was met with a huge ROACH scurrying out of the door as I opened it. When I got home, I opened the beers and noticed the expiration date. It was over a year expired. I was extremely disappointed and drove straight back. I told him the situation and he acted like he did not know who I was (I was in there around 15 minutes prior). He refused to give me a refund and demanded me to leave. I have never experienced so much disrespect from anywhere. So to save anyone else from having a horrific experience, do NOT waste your time here.

It is the best place to buy lotto tickets when there are lines elsewhere and they also carry 0.0 (no alcohol) Heineken. Wish staff was happier like name on the store.

They are ripping you off. Check your bank statement after shopping here. You'll notice they are adding extra. Also, their receipt doesn't itemizes your purchase.

Copy and pasting this every where to get the word out- Neighbors and nearby folks FYI- If you’ve been to Happy Times Package store on Lavista rd, check your credit card statements very very closely. I shopped that store twice in July. Both times my credit cards went missing and fraudulent charges made. Both thefts can easily be linked back to happy times. These charges were made for standard amounts at common stores in the area. Had we not been in Florida when these charges were made in Atlanta, we may not have noticed at all. If you shopped there in July, you might consider getting a new card altogether because they sat on one of my cards for two weeks before shopping with it.I called the manager to offer the reference number for the $.01 pre auth charge made at Happy Times (before the thief headed to Target) so the manager could investigate the situation herself. They appear to have a new employee and I certainly didn’t want her running into trouble for his possible bad actions. She not only didn’t want the reference number, she started defending herself for things I wasn’t even accusing her of. She even yelled at me “people lose their credit cards all the time! We have a box full back here!” Which sounded more like a confession than an excuse to me.Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this store. And please warn everyone. After posting this message on a few online groups, other people shared identical experiences at this store. I am not alone. Don't become a victim too. Avoid Happy Times Package for your own good and spare your neighbors a similar headache by passing this on to everyone you know in the area.

I stopped for convenience - I was dining nearby and picked up something on my way home - my card was being used fraudulently within 24 hours at Target & QT.

Asked the owner for pricing on certain items that weren’t labeled with a price tag. Owner became angry and raised his voice at me for not buying the items once I found out they were way overpriced. I apologized for the confusion at first. But he became irate and wouldn’t let it go. Basically yelling at me about nothing in particular. Horrible experience. After seeing the reviews it’s clear that this is a typical way for the owners to act.

Came to the store to buy a 6 pack of craft beer and a 4 pack of a canned Margarita product. As I got home and opened the package for the Margarita product, I noticed it felt unusually light. As I pulled the cans out, none of them were full, some almost empty. All were sealed and no apparent leaks. I went back and described the situation and the owner pointed to the All Sales Final sign. We began to argue and he threatened to call the police on me. I don't know how people like this stay in business. Hopefully he won't for long.

The beer in their refrigerator is warm. Maybe it's on the cool side of warm, but still warm. Warmer than any other liquor store, restaurant, or bar in the area.

The coolers are barely cool let alone cold. It's like someone told the owners what cold felt like and they did their best. The staff is also very unhelpful and inconsiderate. In a pinch this place will do but if you want to find a regular liquor store to visit and find interesting things go elsewhere.

This place is better than most small neighborhood package stores. The wine selection is much more interesting than the basic grocery store stuff and they have actually stocked wines I asked about before.
