Mary Retha was literally God sent! I actually appreciate her for helping me with one of the most scariest tax issues I had after my divorce. She worked so hard on my behalf and I was thank God separated from that debt in taxes. Thank you so much Mary I truly appreciate you so much!!!???????? You are truly God sent!

This office and its team of wholly unqualified “tax analysts” will do nothing more than cost you more money and stress. Billing themselves as “small business certified” borders on malpractice - there is not a single person here who understands how to properly file small business taxes. Our return was completed in 2021 and I have been fighting ever since to receive a response and a refund for the fines that they’ve generated due to their incompetence. The preparer filed our S-Corp filings late, misreported our income, and fudged numbers on our business filings that have cost us thousands (nearly $26,000 between overpaid taxes, fees, and fines). There were so many errors that a CPA had to file amendments on their returns, costing us another $2000.We also purchased their “Piece of mind” coverage during our initial meeting, which is just a joke - the equivalent to an extended car warranty. They will not honor this. They have never returned a phone call or email. Protect your business and your finances - take it all to a real CPA.

Overpriced for the services & not worth the hassle we encountered. My wife & I came in to do our taxes for 2022 about 2 wks before taxes were due in April & our tax specialist never completed our taxes! I called & emailed our specialist using the H&R app, but never got a hold of her until I discovered a wk later that she was no longer with H&R. While H&R quickly transferred our tax docs to another representative & completed the process that day (about 9 days after taxes were due), when we reviewed the amount owed to state & fed the app took out the payment for H&R services but the payments to the state & fed were never paid. This late filing led to us to encounter late penalties & fees from both the fed & state. Additionally, the state taxes we owed according to the state was actually $200 cheaper than what H&R informed us. I inquired about getting H&R to pay for these penalties & while they agreed, it has taken over 4 mnths & 12 phone calls of hassle to do so. One manager (Laura) initially said she was going to reimburse us for the penalties & provide us with an additional sum for our troubles, but we never received a check. When I followed up with Laura 8 wks later & after multiple attempts with no one calling us back when they said they would, I found out Laura was on vacation for another 3 months until the next tax season in October. Thus, a different representative we worked with said they would send us a check but only for the exact amount of the penalties. We still have yet to receive that check & it has been over 3 wks. This company obviously does not hold themselves to a professional standard for what they charge which is way more expensive than most other tax preparation services. My recommendation is to find somewhere else to have your taxes completed!

First time filing my taxes at H&R Block and I’m so glad that I did. Ronald totten did my taxes and he was very educational throughout the process. Definitely saved a lot of time and stress by filing with his help. Highly recommend !

Mary Tate said my taxes would be done day after my appointment. It's been 3 WEEKS and NOTHING!!!! I've called, emailed, used the app to message, etc and NO RESPONSE!!!! Here we are now 2 weeks before taxes are due and I can't even reach the person who is doing them. Horrible customer service and horrible communication.

We have been using HR block for over a decade. Today we had a call with a new representative as ours was not available. We were asking why what she was saying about our dependents did not match with the IRS website and other online Tax websites. She could not answer our question, got mad that we were questioning her, and hung up on us. We will be taking our business elsewhere for the future. I recommend others do the same unless you want to overpay or be treated rudely when your "pro" cannot answer your question.
