Planet Fitness is a gym chain with over 2,400 locations. This particular location stands out as clean and well-maintained, with more machines than many other Planet Fitness gyms. Reviewers consistently describe the staff as polite and welcoming, contributing to a positive experience.
The gym has a relaxed atmosphere, allowing members to stay in the lounge area for as long as they like. Many gym-goers find the environment to be respectful and social, making their membership worthwhile. While some new guests can occasionally disrupt the cleanliness, the facility remains well-kept, with 99% of the machines functional. Members appreciate the pleasant front desk employees and enjoy the massage chairs and beds.
Although there are signs reminding members to use earbuds during phone calls, some individuals still engage in loud conversations. Despite this minor issue, many believe this is the best Planet Fitness in Decatur, with one reviewer expressing that it exceeded their expectations for cleanliness and service. Overall, this location is favored for its welcoming staff and ample equipment, making it a great choice for fitness enthusiasts.
Matthew Rankin was an absolute gem to work with today. Being a member of Planet Fitness for a while now, I had some concerns that required me to come in. Matthew exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t be happier.
