Mr. MIHILA called me to inquire if my move-in was satisfactory.....it just so happened that I was on the premises when I received the call.... I was very concerned about the amount of spiders I was seeing.......Mihila showed up in three minutes to personally sweep the unit and use a leaf blower to remove all the cobwebs and debris. VIP service!

Let me start with Andi and Tiara are absolutely amazing! They are rockstars for Public Storage BUT they are not responsible for this property. This is a virtually managed property and this is a pain! Three different times I’ve spent hours trying to gain access to my unit. It’s hard to get help. It’s be I switched units and went to a larger unit that’s in a different building but their system didn’t accommodate the change and I issues gaining access from that point forward. I was there for 4 hours until Tiara and Andi showed up and helped. Been there for almost two years with autopay coming out and card expired they started blowing up my phone. But I couldn’t access my unit when all was paid. 🤦🏾♂️ Got my stuff and closed the account. However, contrary I have another Public Storage unit at another location that is great.

It's fine. It's a storage unit, so what is there to say. I both like and dislike how automated it is. I have an app to do everything, but it can be slow, so memorizing your entry code helps. It is a pain to have to enter my code to get in the door, then the elevator, etc. There are only a few carts available to use and they in a poor state of repair. It is supposed to be climate controlled, but it was about 80+ degrees inside the building at 9AM, so I am not sure I would trust leaving any heat sensitive items, like vinyl records in there.

I was very impressed by the cleanliness from the interior to the exterior of the public storage property. The access code user instructions were very user friendly. The climate control worked as intended. Soon as I accessed my unit and walked down the hall towards my unit, the A/C came on. This property is the best hands down. Kudos to the manager of the property, must have OCD or something and I love it. You guys are spot on. Keep up the good work.

Mahila, I am pretty sure I spelled his name correctly, is the manager there and he is the only reason I still keep my units there. He has been proactive in expediting any issues I have had and he is honest and attentive. I know my stuff is safe with him there. I was surprised when he remembered me and then I saw his interactions with some other people who have units there, and he knew everybody. He remembers names and units. He would be a great bartender with his memory and personality. Great dude. He gets things done and I hope he is there for a while before he gets the promotion he deserves.

I opened an account 3 months ago. Today I received a noticed my rent is tripling! customer service has claimed this is due to market rates in the area. I was not aware that market rates increased 200%. If I knew that public storage was going to use a intro rate tactic with a rate hike in hopes of getting extra money from customers I would not have moved my items here to begin with. 1 month notice too, how kind!
Do not rent here if they do not guarantee a rate. You are subject to increases month by month

Recently rented a unit at Public Storage at 1210 Clairemont Decatur. We met Mihila the new manager on the property. He was very helpful in getting us settled in. The property was so much more well taken care of than the last time we rented there. Thank you Mihila!

I have always had great customer service experiences at Public Storage and particularly this location (1210 Clairmont Rd.) I've been a customer since early 2017, and I have never doubted the safety and housing of my possessions or my ability to feel good about choosing this company and location. Mihila has been especially outstanding. He brings a new personal attention to detail and a kindness, grace, consideration, and decency. He treats me with respect and thoughtfulness. As a result, he elevates the professionalism, personalization, and quality experience of the company. I am always grateful when I hear from him (it's a pure delight), and I know I can reach out to him if I need to anytime. Mihila has made me renew and strengthen my appreciation of my choice of Public Storage after all these years. I am grateful for him, especially!
