Please buy insurance extra, rats chewed ,urine on most my things, manger didn't offers any discount, and not to mention the price continue to go up. Choose an business that care about your belongings some things I lost i cant replace ,This was very sad 😞

After having a horrible experience next door I came to Public Storage and was blown away. I decided to go into the office and ask about looking at a downstairs unit and the friendly helpful service I received blew me away. I feel like my stuff is secured and the friendly staff add to that. Unit was clean and no walls had been re-boarded up which was a plus!

Off the main roads so the only thing to worry about is the rain, rats, and heat. Most units are inside so the climate is mildly controlled. Updated entry into property with their app. It's a great thing unless your phone doesn't want to cooperate since that's the only way in. Nice manager. Well kept property for the most part. Only seen rodents once when they ate through the electric and water lines on my washer and dryer. I alerted the management. Last time I was there, there were post control traps around as there should've been consistently. My only complaint is that when I did call them and told them that there were mics everywhere. Their response at first was, call the insurance company and file a claim... and I was questioning this as to why not tell you so you can take care of the rodents because The insurance companies now got to take care of the pests. It wasn't just my unit it's every unit but anyway they took care of it. Also they raised the rent all the time but they don't tell you but then they put out advertisements for lower rent than what I'm paying all the time. I was like why am I paying $250 a month when it says online that unit 10x10 should be $61 a month? That's a big difference. They will occasionally help lower it but they don't. I mean the manager can only do so much and I'm very thankful for that. However, corporate should rectify this on an ongoing basis, or stop raising the rent randomly without a Fair market reason or without it actually being other than corporate greed . It's hard to get in touch with customer service because you have to do everything through the app and there's an AI chat which is not good at all at all. Forget about emailing them because when they email you it's a no reply email address. So emails are out and if you call the number that's on the app, you don't get anywhere. To get the right phone number, I had to ask the local manager because they don't advertise it. He was kind enough to give it to me because he said that I should reach out to them and see if they can lower my rent cuz he can only lower it by so much himself. He said that customer service, corporate customer service, had the power to do more but I had to call them myself and it's a number that is not on the app, so where would the average customer get it?..., but he works for them and was nice enough to pass it along. So hopefully now that I have the number I can call them and get the rent lowered to match what others are getting the same size for. That's crazy to have that much discrepancy in what I'm paying and what the market value for that size unit is actually currently worth. So why does the rent go up all the time but the actual value of the rental doesn't? confusing and I wish they would address that on a corporate level because it's not local. Other than that, it's a really great place to store your stuff. It's well kept and well maintained. The manager is very polite and helpful. Sorry for the long story but the corporate side is the problem.
