I have been a member of fuel rewards for several years now. T Mobile acquired Sprint which allowed former Sprint member to participate in T Mobile Tuesdays. This benefit allows for fuel rewards members to add up to an additional 10 cents off per gallon on top of the 5 cents off for Fuel Rewards program. I usually receive an additional 5 cents. I went to this Shell station on my way to a play, Wednesday morning. I routinely pay at the pump to avoid contact with people (Covid is still present). After I entered my alternate ID (phone number), it showed I should get the 10 cents off as I expected. The price was $3.29/gallon for regular gas so it should have been $3.19/gallon. Next I swiped my credit card. Note: This gas station doesn’t have a cash vs credit card price. After swiping my card the price didn’t change. I went inside to talk with the clerk who also stated he was the owner. I explained what happened. He did not offer any assistance for me to receive the 10 cents off. Stated why should he “short change himself.” Asked me how much gas I was going to get? I have a SUV and tank was basically empty-so about $40. He suggested I just go ahead and pump the gas and see if the 10 cents off/gallon would come off at the end. I told him that’s not how it usually works and if not, he would get my business/money as I wouldn’t be able to put the gas back. Basically insulting my intelligence while not allowing fuel reward members to obtain any discounts. This happened once before about 3-4 months ago when Fuel Rewards had the promotion spin and save. I had accumulated 40 cents off per gallon. After putting in my information, the pump was on but did not show the reduced price. So I loss out of 45 cent per gallon. That time I did not go into the store as I was on my way to work. This is an unfortunate practice as once a person enters their information, the extra savings are gone. Then for him to be arrogant and condescending, is poor customer service to the utmost. I ended up going to Chevron today. I was 25 minutes late to the play that I was going to. Fortunately, there was a delay there. Otherwise, I would have missed the play. No entrance after it starts and no intermission.I vowed never to come back to this Shell 3 to 4 months ago. Have to make sure I stick with that vow this time .

This gas station is closest to my house and it's THE WORST the prices on everything are higher than anything in this area and THEIR CARD MACHINES SUCK AND THEY DONT REPLACE THEM! They have had barely working card machines for like 2+ years and try and blame everyone's card but it's not. I have used all my card there and had issues and watched countless others as well. I go to any other gas station when possible!

Awful, the people sit in their cars at the pump without even even getting gas. Drug deals, cat calling, lazy customers and workers. It was actually one of the worst gas pumping experiences I've had and that says a lot because who has a good gas station experience?

Thug city..always junky people hanging around. Why do these gas stations and places allow this. Idk. One of the new employees gave me and another customer the wrong change. I got mines. One employee had a bad attitude when I told him the pump wasn't working one time. These people from these foreign countries, indian or whatever, do not know how to treat and talk to people. They lack customer service and respect for you. This pretty much speaks for all gas stations that are owned by foreigners. I use the card at the pump just so I won't have to interact with them but I plan on just maybe going to QT or American owned.
