The meanest post office ive ever been to…. It’s honestly one of the meanest businesses I’ve ever been to. It’s always understaffed and the staff is just rude and nasty ALL the time.

I arrived at 12:30 pm, there are 3 people in line and the clerk says that they are closed. Google says they close at 1 pm. I said what time do you close, she said now. I said for future references, what time do you close on Saturdays, she said be her before 12. Horrible customer service.

It’s always an issue when I come to ANY usps. The employees happily tell you no and make any excuse that will have an outcome where you have to come back, go somewhere else, redo a label, etc. they are like mean cafeteria ladies. I’m always there to just do 1-2 Amazon returns and everytime it’s “we don’t take that barcode” — how so? Why would Amazon send it to me and say return to USPS just for you all to not take them? USPS is trash. I prefer UPS STORE EVERY TIME.

I arrived today at 12:30pm and the clerk refuse to help anyone else. This location is listed to close at 1:00pm. Very disappointed at this location. I will never visit this location again.

I walked in at 12:35 knowing that they close at 1. The ‘lady’ told me they’re closing early because she’s by herself. She’s by herself every time I go in there, and I’m not understanding how that means she needs to turn customers away 25 minuted before the posted closing time. This place gets terrible reviews, but nobody cares enough to change the way they operate. Stop being lazy and do your job until the posted closing time!

Tis place closes at 4pm and closes at 12pm for lunch I know they have to have lunch but why close the whole post office for lunch and they are so slow it took me 15 minutes to find out about a package that was suppose to be delivered

Decatur is getting worse and worse. The clerk left all of us standing waiting. Went to back laughing and talking to coworker. Didn't say a word and most of the other customers were seniors. They careless about providing good customer service

Re: POBox Customer. Terrible service.Every time I go to this location it’s literally the same employee. She looks like she’s doing the best she can, especially when there are rude and impatient customers speaking rudely the entire time. The first thing she does is apologize for the wait, so at least she realizes there is a problem. My issue isn’t with her specifically, but whoever runs the establishment. I only patronize this business because that’s where my POBox is. I get informed delivery notifications that my mail is delivered but it is NEVER in the box. So I have to wait in line & it’s always for 45 min (minimum) to an hour for the LONE employee to go to the back to retrieve my mail. WHY AM I PAYING FOR A POBox if I can’t get my mail whenever I please??!! Then to make matters worse, I file a complaint with the USPS & no one ever called me back & the had the audacity to send me a survey about my experience/service with my issue….:the same one that was never resolved. My POBox is for my to receiver paper checks securely. So imagine how frustrating is it to pay for a service to retrieve YOUR money and you never get YOUR money. It’s pathetic. Sad to say I’ll be changing my box to the side of town that’s more apt to get better service

Horrible got here 5 mins before 9 supposed to open at 9am the lady did not come out until 9:15 with a lobby full of customers … we heard her in the back were asking when will she open she blantenly ignored us then proceeded to come out very nonchalant and stated “that’s not gonna make me move any faster” she said I don’t work here anyway be glad I’m here . Then she turned on unacceptable music before starting to take customers . She has red braids . Just HORRIBLE . I know we’re on candler but does it have to be this bad ? I will be contacting corporate

By far the worst I’ve experienced. You might get your packages,you might not and that’s with documentation that package was delivered. Poor customer service and sorry to say just outright ghetto and we deserve better.

When I visit this location, there is often a line. Having been a usps employee, I know the workings of those in the back. There are usually 2 clerks but folks fail to realize is they are human, need to have their breaks and lunches. It is not their fault when there is only one clerk. It is a managerial issue. They can only give you what they have. If this office is only given 2 clerks to work the window, then why beat up the clerks. Every time I go, if there is more than a 5-10 minute wait, the first thing that the clerks say is I'm sorry for the wait. An apology goes a long way with me. I have been on both sides of the counter. Believe me, customers act as though they are paying postal employee's salaries through their taxes. When in fact, the Postal Service is the only government agency that is NOT subsidized! When the cost of running a business escalates and funds get thin, they get no funds like the banks and/or car manufacturers. When you are seemingly not complaining about the electric, gas or other price increases, you just pay the bill and keep on pushing and accept it. It's a shame! I only logged on to see the hours for today, Saturday. I hope you have better experiences in the future.

Why is there no self service station? I don't need to go to a clerk, I just needed to see how much my package is weighed. I guess I might as well buy my own scale on Amazon and continue purchasing my discounted labels online somewhere else.
