Staff is pretty rude and unprofessional. I listened to the worker be rude to an elderly lady at the counter and then be rude and dismissive to me once I made my way up to the counter. But she could flirt with and laugh with male customers. I just left without even mailing my package and will go to a post office a little farther out the way but hopefully with better customer service.

The post office in Dekalb closes at 5pm, but decides to close at 4:30 for “technical reasons”…I arrive at 4:17 for a drop off…and they won’t let me or anyone in.
Fortunately, I’m not from this area, but it’s sad that people who DO live here are being misused out there. Absolutely sad. Do better!

Standing here now waiting for the post office to open. There’s a random sign on the door saying the building would be closed from 1:30pm-2:30pm. It is now 2:45pm and still not opened. Totally unacceptable. This would never happen on the other side of town so why is it acceptable on this side of town?

Me almost 30 minutes to reach the counter! Ridiculous and surely there’s more people working at Thai location.

Used to be VERY RELIABLE, but has steadily gone DOWNHILL over the past 5 years.
I've lived in their service neighborhood for over 15 years.
Frequency of undelivered packages and mail have INCREASED.
Per Informed Delivery, I was supposed to receive a certain amount of mail for various days BUT ZERO delivery and WHEN-IF they deliver then would be MISSING mail.
Packages would get lost - and stop tracking after arrival at the Wesley Chapel post office hub.
AND if they supposedly tried to deliver some packages, they would claim some BS EXCUSES like 'no such number', 'not at the address', 'address could not be found', 'moved - no forwarding address', 'unable to access location', etc. ALL BS NONSENSICAL EXCUSES for their mistakes, ineptitude, inefficiency, poor quality customer service.
I am STILL MISSING packages from 2 years ago, last year, AND mail from June 2024, AND 15 pieces of mail from this week (7/11/2024 and 7/12/2024.

No stars (one because will not post without) - worst post office ever. Postal workers need to be taught how to read... endless packages and mail delivered to incorrect addresses in our neighborhood. Trying to get in touch with someone at the location is a lost cause.

This is my second time putting in a complaint about y’all driver. This is ridiculous! I have video footage of the driver once again knocking over our trash can with the usps truck! Any damages to the city trash can, you all will be responsible for replacing it. Dekalb county sanitation not going to put the trash can in the yard after they dump it. The driver should have turnt the wheel to go around the trash can!

Anyone saying anything positive about this post office are either paid, a bot, or lying. This post office is so bad man. No new tech, customer service is rude consistently. Lack things to get mail out, deliveries are always late. DO NOT BELIEVE THOSE FAKE POSITIVE REVIEWS, THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!

This is the worst Post Office in Decatur, the carriers can't seem to deliver the mail correctly and when you make a complaint you get met with attitude and imu professionalism.

I’m here at 4:12 pm and there is ONLY 1 Teller and there are 15 people on line!! The other post offices around town in the Whire area have more than 1 teller at any given time. This post office is in a predominantly black community We are not being treated fairly. We need more than 1 teller we need at least 3 like the one on Ponce De Leon!! I am livid, frustrated and highly concerned to see this blatant Disrespect !!

This is the worst post office. These geniuses decided not to deliver my package on the scheduled date because it was “too late”. I received a notification which stated that they couldn’t deliver to my address because it was not deliverable. Complete bs. This was on a Friday. It was to be rescheduled for Saturday which did freaking happen. Here it is Tuesday and I have no impact no idea on my package. A BS investigation was started which is going nowhere. This is just a case of lazy employees being lazy. Fire these disgusting wastes of space and spare the world of their incompetence. I’ll pay extra to never have to deal with these bums again.
