Food Depot is a local grocery store that offers a great variety of fresh produce, including hard-to-find items like Sun Melon (yellow watermelon). The store is known for its good prices, especially on discounted meat and poultry near their expiration date, making it a budget-friendly option for shoppers. Customers appreciate the convenient location and the wide selection of produce not found in other local stores. However, some reviews mention concerns about the customer service, with reports of poor greeting, lack of staff motivation, and room for improvement in thanking customers. Despite these service-related issues, many customers consider Food Depot their go-to store for staple items due to the affordable prices, often lower than Walmart. The store is also praised for its fresh and sweet fruits, particularly the delicious cherry plums.
