I had all my money taken by someone posing at their fraud dpt and the day branch and more specifically Ms clay had it returned to me with in hours of walking in the following day highly recommend

THE WORST BRANCH EVER AND NOT VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. They do not follow-up and your transaction are left in Limbo and usually not right. The tellers are 50-50 you may get a decent one who provide good customer service and than there are those who do not want to be bothered. This is definitely not a GOOD BRANCH for transaction more involved besides deposits/withdrawal.

50% of the time I go use the ATM it's not working Douglasville only has one ATM where you can make deposits!!!All the other banks in Douglasville Georgia have several locations several named ATMs where you can withdraw and make deposits.This is ridiculous Georgia's Own has to do better it has been this way for years with no changes or upgrades

I was a member for years, but somehow all my money was put in another account. It took weeks to fix, even though I have them all the information including the account my deposited in instead of mine. They didnot know how to rectify the situation and process that should have been a few days, was a month-long diatribe.

Outstanding service, Ms Jakie is an asset to this branch, she has excellent member service. She pays attention to all her customers and makes sure she gives you the help you deserve. I seriously hate when US companies start sending business to 3rd world countries to handle their members. Every time I call, I am grilled about a potential 'fraud' issue regarding a transaction. I always confirm that it is NOT fraud and that the purchase is, IN FACT ---MINE and WAS, IN FACT AUTHORIZED ---BY ME. Then, I am transferred over to an account specialist only after being GRILLED by someone in India or the Phillipines at 'card services'.Want to try to activate a new card ? Good luck. The 1-800-# sticker on the card just asks for the card number, the 3 digit security code, pauses, asks for it AGAIN---and then---tells you that card services is unable to activate it. I DROVE BACK to my branch. Jackie made a call and stated that the reason that it was not activating was because I was not calling from the number that Georgia's Own had on file for me. My fault. I came home, called from the CORRECT number and STILL CANNOT ACTIVATE IT.You call and hold for 15 min before you're even given the option for a call back which is ANOTHER 45 MINUTES TO AN HOUR....Calling Georgia's Own customer service is a nightmare now...Speaking to all kinds of different agents, all asking you all kinds of personal information, debit card numbers, security code on the back of the card, your address, You're giving it thinking that they're going to HELP you activate your new card. Instead, you're transferred to someone ELSE not knowing who you gave your private personal information to because the previous agent never helped, just transferred you after you gave them the info they asked. This is EXACTLY how criminals steal information.Back in the day, credit unions were admired and you were proud to be a member. Not anymore...Holding my money hostage and not allowing me access to it is NOT what I'm looking for in a bank.

Jackie(Manager) & Baileys level of incompetence & unprofessionalism is astounding. I was denied my request due to the initial employee at sign-up for the account, doing it incorrectly, without either of the people on the account, knowledge. The drive-thru service has always been subpar but this experienced confirmed it. On top of that, they wanted me to leave the drive-thru so a manager could repeat the same information that she sent her employee to. Absolutely not, that is the convenience of the drive-thru.Update: They contacted the other owner on the account to inform her that they would need to run my credit for us to withdraw money. The crazy thing is, I have an account there, which is why my family members have joined. But most importantly, why do you need to run my credit to withdraw money from an account I’m on?! I’ll be withdrawing my funds and headed to Delta Credit Union.
