I waited at least five (maybe 10) minutes before the only worker there finally acknowledged me (she was signing someone up). She asked me what I needed (I just needed to buy a phone to replace a broken phone), and put me on the list that she said would be 10 minutes. Ten minutes later she was still with the other customer with no end in sight.Eventually I sat down at a kiosk that faced into a back room where some other employee was talking to someone--it sounded like he might've been talking to a new employee about the job. When he saw me sitting there, he stood up and closed the door.I eventually left and went across town.I realize the nature of these shops means they'll have limited staff, and it won't always be a quick experience. But having only one employee, and having me standing around for 15-20 minutes with no help is poor customer service. What's worse is these Verizon stores don't even have phone numbers you can call to talk to an employee who's actually in the store.The store across town is a headache in terms of car traffic, but at least their customer service isn't as dismal as this store.
