This is the first daycare my baby girl has attended and she absolutely loves coming here. It’s been I think 2 years now of her coming here. They have cute activities for them to do. Their staff is amazing. 10/10!

There were two incidents total - involving the same employee, that has led up to this review.
Here are the main points:
-the spray bottle is overused - on the day of the second incident, we were never contacted and when we went to pick him up after an hour of being isolated, his entire head was still soaked from being sprayed. He’s been wet every time we’ve picked him up.
-my dog was mistreated by one specific employee, the rest of the yard staff was loving and great
-the same employee felt it was necessary to use kicking to shoo my dog away from a door she was trying to open
-they claim the dogs are only put into time-out for 10-15 minutes, when really it’s closer to an hour
-although there was acknowledgement of some wrongdoing, there was never once an apology
-I called twice on two separate occasions, two weeks apart, regarding the same employee and was told by the assistant manager Tori, that she can’t spend all her time taking my excessive calls
-while my dog was being mistreated for supposed misbehavior, I witnessed other dogs being left alone while chasing and even nipping at other dogs
I have attached the photos of the write up to this review to address the explanations and accusations stated by the camp’s behavior specialist who watched the same exact camera footage that I did.
-our dog has barked twice his entire life. Once at a motorcycle behind our car and once at the television. We have taken him to endless dog parks and he has never once barked.
-It was affirmed several times on the phone that he is NOT aggressive and may just be over excited, yet this is what’s written about him. I was told that the staff feels that he may have bad manners, but definitely no ill intentions.
-It’s ironic that he wants to befriend every human and animal outside of your facility, but somehow has a long list of enemies within it.
-I have never been contacted or advised of any of these supposed incidents, but was threatened with a write up both times I called to express my concern about their employee
-In this write up, he is an aggressive bully that apparently wants to provoke other dogs to fight, which is the complete opposite of what every employee in the camp has communicated since attending.
I’m fully aware that a business has to have all angles covered, but it’s completely unjust to fabricate lies about a dog’s character, and the events that have occurred, to justify an employee’s inappropriate handling of a dog. Instead of being defensive and rude, the assistant manager could have simply stated that she felt my dog was not a good fit. It is clear we have very differing opinions on what is considered ethical treatment of a dog, and that’s perfectly fine. That’s really all that would’ve been necessary to keep us away from your business without feeling the need to inform others of this entire mess of a situation. Those who have lower energy, adult dogs would probably do great in this facility, but we were sending ours to socialize, not to be abused by a spray bottle every time he initiated an interaction. I hope you’re as diligent in disciplining your one actually aggressive employee, as she was to our incredulously aggressive dog.

Great services! Staff in the front are welcoming and friendly! The staff taking care of the dog care and love on the dogs when they are there. I love the cameras to be able to watch them play throughout the day!

Dom the Boxer had an exceptional and energetic first day at Camp Bow Wow! He was properly assessed and quickly integrated with dogs his size and energy level. Best thing, this 1.5 year old fell asleep early! Thanks Camp Bow Wow!

We boarded our dog for two years at this location and the experience was simply 'okay' most times. The front desk staff was generally friendly but usually uninterested in helping us quickly (lots of time on their phones before looking up to greet us).
We finally decided to stop boarding at Bow Wow after they started asking for tips upfront (really?!) and started adding additional fees that we didn't know about until we showed up (no choice but to pay now!) - for example, late pickup (after 11am).
Our new boarding place offers more consistent upfront pricing and a much, much friendlier staff.

Lisa Mz of Safehaven is a career specialist that spoke to the owner about a physically past employee who was physically disabled. She testified the owner (Jeff) was exceptionally rude to her and spoke ill of the employee (who was dismissed due to budget cuts). In one of his comments, he referred to the employee as "not profitable". I don't recommend you support him with your business.

We have always used daycare facility and the staff is very friendly and caring. We never had any issue with her stay there.

Love it! My dog has the best time here. The staff is so nice and courteous. The best thing you can look in on your furbaby on the doggycam. Awesome!

I switched my dog from another location and I will never take my sweet girl anywhere else. My Sadie loves the staff and we love them. Nancy’s customer service is top tier!
My dog loved the activities and the camp overall. I’m so grateful for this group of people and the outstanding service to the animals and owners. I never worry about my dog or the treatment she is receiving here. A overall wonderful experience!

We came to Camp Bow Wow after reading the reviews on Google. We have been looking for a place to board our 2 dogs when we go to the UK/Scotland for 2 weeks in August. We scheduled our interview and took our dogs for an assessment/free day. We are so impressed. It's an impressive facility built with dogs in mind. The staff is great and you can tell they love dogs. We will definitely be using them not only for this trip but for day camp as well.
