Moral of the story if you are going to get your tires serviced here have someone pick you up and come back when your car is ready - no matter how simple the task might appear you will wait an incredibly long time.
I arrived for an appointment at 4pm to fix a flat tire (under warranty) and install TMS. I did not receive my car until they closed at 8:30pm. Rough afternoon with a four year old to be stuck at costco that long.
The time before it took 2.5 hours for a tire rotation appointment.

Awful. Even with an appointment they have a 2 HOUR WAIT?! Why take appointments if it’s irrelevant?!?

I came to fix a ttier and they said it will take an hour and a half to 2 hours. they called me almost 3 hours later to tell me they cannot fix it and need to be replaced. I dont know what is the point of making an appointment if they dont look at the car except 2 hours later. They need to fire the lady in the front or whoever is making these appointments

Purchased 4 new Michelin tires, and the very next day I got a TPMS light along with harsh vibrations on the highway at around 50 mph. When I brought my car back in, they told me the vibration was due to needing a wheel alignment and uneven wear on my old tires. I rotate my tires every 5,000 miles, and I would have noticed if they had uneven wear. My car also had no vibrations before I brought it to Costco.
When I asked about the TPMS light, the person at the counter asked a tech, who then rudely relayed to me that it was because one of the sensors had low battery and needed to be replaced. My car actually has an indirect TPMS that works off the ABS system—it does not use batteries.
I then asked if they found any issues with the balancing of the new tires. They told me they had double-checked, found nothing wrong and told me again rudely, it was because I needed an alignment, and quickly tried to move on to the next customer. After leaving, I took my car on the highway again to double check, and magically there were no vibrations and the TPMS light was off.
My impression is that they either forgot or incorrectly balanced the tires, tried to blame it on my alignment, and didn’t bother to reset the TPMS system (which only requires holding the button for 3 seconds). Instead, they blamed it on nonexistent “low batteries” in my battery-less indirect tpsm.
Avoid Duluth's Costco Tire Center.

Service is super slow! Set up appointment at 5:15 and was told to come in 15 minutes early it’s 7 pm and my car is still at the parking lot! What’s the point of setting up appointment! I called and set up appointments to avoid this situation and yet it’s happened!

Brutal under staffing, despite having appointments, waited over 2 hours on row occasions. Will not buy tires again from Costco.

Don’t understand what’s the hype about this place. It isn’t cheaper than my car dealership and the service is super slow. I came here to get my tires checked because my step-dad bought four new tires here for me and said to come here if I have any problem with them. Well, I did. Apparently I had a nail in one of the tire. Spent a whole day here for a nail in my tire. They don’t accept walks in and they will give you next available appointment. Aside from the long service time, when I got my car back, everything in my glove compartment was on the seat and all stained with oil/grease, including my white make up bag. Mechanic was Jose F. Thanks a lot dude.

It took 15 min to get checked in and there were only 2 customers ahead of me. Guy was too busy talking to the lady customer. However, the tire rotation and balance were done on a timely manner and they called to tell me that it was ready

They don’t pick up the phone, and when they do they hang up! Guess they don’t want to help their customers out.

Reviews are accurate. Slow, frustrating, and unapologetic. Had an appointment and dropped off at 1:45pm. Attendant told me to expect between 1.5 - 2 hrs. I came back at 4 and my car wasn’t even in the bay yet. She told me I’m next and that it would take about 40 more minutes. It’s currently 6:15pm and 3 of my tires are still off the car…

Never buy tires here. When I purchased the tires 5 months ago the apt took 3 hours for them to put on. I recently ran over a nail and brought it in with an apt and they told me it’ll be 1.5-2 hours!! Unacceptable!!

I’m convinced there is not one Costco Tire shop that even attempts to be helpful.

This was the worst tire shop experience I’ve ever had. We arrived at 3:15 PM because we made an appointment and we decided to leave the car there and go shop, thinking we could just walk around to pass the time. We ended up walking around and shopping for 1 hour and 30 minutes and the car wasn’t ready. We ended up leaving Around 6:20 PM. The wait time was horrible but I was pleased with the tires.

Scheduled a service for 5 yesterday and was informed there was a 2 hour wait and advised to reschedule. I scheduled a service for 6 today, called up to ensure the was no wait, and was told there was a 2 hour wait. I asked if I can come up at 8 since there is a wait, they advised to leave the car there for 2 hours and come back. This is the absolute worst tire experience I've ever had, let alone the worst experience with Costco.
