Dr. Binal Patel is an outstandingly knowledgable about the medications and their interactions, is helpful, very hardworking and patient and kind even when several clients await her assistance. She greets everyone with kindness and respect and I have witnessed that she recognizes many clients by name and extends courtesy and respect. Dr. Patel is very hardworking and dedicated. CVS Pgarmacy is very lucky to have such a pleasant and dedicated professional on its staff.

Shamed on what you are hiring with!----CVS/Pharmacy! Shamed on what you are hiring with an employee pharmacist named Mona, belonging to your company. The reason for this action is due to the racial discrimination I experienced from your employee Mona, as well as receiving the wrong medication at your store.
Incident Details: Date: Friday, March 29, 2024, at 4:38 PM (ET). Location: 5950 STATE BRIDGE RD, DULUTH, GA 30097, Store ID: #16226
Person Involved: Mona (employee of CVS/Pharmacy)
Here is the original dialogue.
Mona: “ Name?” (Without” please or Can I have your name?”)
Me: “ XXX XXX (I provided)
Mona: “ Date of birth?”
Me: XXXXXX (I provided)
Mona: “Vyvanse is facing shortage recently, we only have 10 capsules left, do you want it?” Me: “yes.”
Me: “Can you please help me check if your other CVS store have the Vyvanse available?
Mona: (She blamed me) “How do I know if other CVS have Vyvanse? We only have 10 capsules, do you want it?”
I was shocked with her answer and attitude to me, per my understanding, the staff in CVS are able to check which store have the certain medicine if the current store is shortage of this medicine. Since my son is run out of this medication, so I said to her:
Me:” yes. I want the 10 capsules. How much I need to pay for the 10 capsules?”
Mona: “ 10 dollars.” ( I realized this is not the correct price of Vyvanse, so she was giving me the wrong prescription.)
Me: “This is not the Vyvanse, my prescription is Vyvanse, I think you are doing the wrong prescription to me.”
Suddenly, Mona was very angry and shouted at me: “I am giving you the generic one, how do I know you want the brand Vyvanse?!You should let your doctor write it clearly!!That’s your doctor’s fault!!”
Me: “I was with your store 4 months in this same prescription of Vyvanse. You should be able to see this information in your computer.”
Mona said to me: “Do not come to my place to comment on my work! Go away!”
Me:” what? You are giving me the wrong prescription and your are very rude to your client and now you are kicking your customer out of the CVS. I have never been seen a pharmacist like you.”
Mona:” The brand Vyvanse only 11 capsule left, do you want it? If you donot want it, next one.” (Since my son does have medication to take,so, )
Me:” yes, I want it. And how much is it?”
Mona: “ 60 dollars for 10 capsules.”
Me: “ I remember the Vyvanse for me is 120 dollars for 30 capsules, so120 divided by 3, it should be 40 dollars for 10 pills.”
Mona shouted at me: “ Do not do count the price in front of me! you go do count with your insurance company!”
I was shocked again because I have never been seen this kind of pharmacist (if she is a pharmacist)
When I was returning after 20 minutes to collect the medication, I witnessed Mona treating a Caucasian male customer with noticeable courtesy, leading me to perceive her earlier behavior towards me as racially motivated discrimination.
CVS, you are hiring a disqualified employee with a heavy racial discrimination! Shamed on you!

Love my CVS pharmacists and their assistants. They always go out of their way to help, whether it is for prescription or OTC drugs or vaccinations. They are the best.

CVS is baiting customers into their stores right now, advertising a daily freebie. I have not been able to secure one since the promotion started. CVS is not keeping this freebie inventory at any sort of reasonable stock. Yesterday I went to the Norcross, GA store, and the manager informed me that he never even got the facial scrubs in stock. Today I went to this Duluth store, and I was informed at noon that all of the cotton swabs were out. I then called five other CVS stores within a 15-mile radius. They were all out of the free item. One manager told me at the Lawrenceville store that he only received four cotton swab packages, and four different people came in around four in the morning and claimed them. This promotion is a joke. I do not live that close to a CVS. So it was out of my way to drive there. They are purposely keeping no inventory or low inventory to get you in the store. They are offering no rainchecks. I then went back to my car to try to call the 1-800 number. After hearing a lengthy COVID message, I was put on hold for over twenty - five minutes. The phone then rang and I was disconnected. So there is no way to file a complaint with the corporation.

I called in my order Saturday and was told it would be ready in 4 hours. 6 hours later I went in and no medication. Two days later there is still no medication. I am epileptic. This is unfair and unkind. I am extremely disappointed in the way they handle business and the lies they tell to satiate a customer in front of them and then the lack of follow through on said lie.

Pharmacist or assistant was very rude and unhelpful when I asked for a prescription to be filled.

I bought a medicine from this CVS and CVS pharmacy lady said she ran the coupon. After 4/5 days, I looked up GoodRx app and found that I paid almost double price than GoodRx Coupon price. GoodRx app shows medicine price didn't change more than 2$ in last 5 months so I went to CVS again. The lady at CVS pharmacy said she ran some coupon and then gave me medicine and she said she gave best price of that day. Still not convinced as I paid $30 or more and GoodRx is showing medicine price didn't change more than 2$ in last 5 months. I will not suggest you go here. Wish I had looked up GoodRx at pharmacy and then purchased the medicine.
