This is the worst... first I booked a car 4 days before pickup day and when I get there to pick up my car they said they don't have the car I booked available. I asked to speak to a manager and he said I am the manager and when I asked ok then give me any car and he said there was only suv available and that I have to pay additional. I called corp and that is not true they are supposed to give me the next available one they have regardless how much it is since they don't have the original booked car. I keep calling them to see why they didn't do that for me and they won't answer my phone or just put me on hold and won't come back. Do not use this location.

Hertz sucks. I have tried to obtain a receipt for a business rental for over a week. I have tried to contact a living person at this company, which is impossible. I finally spoke to the location manager in Duluth Ga after explaining my problem to an airport representative that utilizes Hertz. She said she wasn't suppose to give out this number but agreed there was no other way. The Hertz manager promised I would have the receipt by the next morning at 1000 AM. No receipt and now won't pick up his phone. Even the car sucked...POS smelled like smoke..The personnel at every Hertz location are rude and unhelpful. You are an idiot to rent a car from these morons.And Im pissed I had to give them 1 star....it would not let me post unless I did. They suck that bad.

I knew there would be shenanigans the moment I saw this Hertz was small and in a strip mall. They are understaffed and making up policies.They mark your car return time as the time you initially walk in, although it takes you hours to actually check out.If you RESERVE a car online in advance and that car type is not available upon arrival, you are told you have to pay the increased fee for an upgraded vehicle.I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the youngman that helped us, but the store "policies" stink. I have used Hertz numerous times and NEVER had this type of service. I expect much better service from Hertz.

The worst customer service at this location. An employee introduced himself as a manager, refused to provide a vehicle with reason no vehicle available in the category reserved.

This place is horrible!!! I will never rent from this place ever again! I should have be able to retire a car at any Hertz location. And customer service was horrible. I hate it here. Close this place DOWN.

Pitiful. Car not available. Will not substitute. Promises their Lawrenceville location has my car. But I have to get myself there. I told her I am stranded. I call to confirm before buying an Uber ride. "We have no cars available." I have to do my own customer service?! The employee at the Duluth location does not care enough to verify her own statement before sending me away without any transportation? I am disgusted!

Would not honor our reservation due to a mix up in inventory. Their fault. Complete lack of interest in helping. 4 more customers here in the same situation. We are all stranded. GO ELSEWHERE!

Do NOT ever rent from this location. They are incredibly slow. I mean it takes 10 minutes tops to rent a vehicle. It takes this location 30 plus minutes per customer. They never have vehicles and that is another problem. Do yourself a favor and just avoid this location. Lascha(employee) advised me 30 minutes after I arrived that I could pick up from Buford because they did not have my vehicle. The vehicle I reserved was actually on the lot and she made a mistake. Unprofessional that you don’t know your fleet & whats available to your customers that booked more than 48 hours in advance. However, there’s an Enterprise directly up the street 3050 Satellite Blvd not even 4 minutes away. I was in & out in 8 minutes.

I feel sorry for the people who has to work for Hertz and have to tell customers they can't honor their reservation price because they don't have the reserved car but have to upgrade and charge them the upgrade price instead of the reservation price. What a lousy way for a company to run a business. Never again will we rent from Hertz. That one star is for the customer service people who has to work and deal with company policy and irate customers and zero star for the company.

Their customer service is horrible, I should of read the Google reviews before making a reservation at this location. The car itself was fine, but the actual location needs a lot of work on their customer service. I get better customer service at McDonald's

Horrible customer service, reserved a car they don't carry so then I had to pay an upgrade fee which is $20 a day higher than their own website and the manager won't void the contract to allow the lower price. Never have I seen such poor customer relations, don't use them unless you want to get screwed.

Hertz is a horrible company! My family will never rent from them again. We made reservations for Christmas MONTHS AGO. Get to the location on Dec.22nd to pick up our rental and was told there were no vehicles available and they were only honoring the reservations of those with Gold status. What?!?! They had a lobby full of people upset. Some had even prepaid. But no cars available. The receptionist told us the corporate office controls the reservations and allowed the rental locations to become overbooked. What kind of mess is that? The receptionist showed us a list of over 70 reservations for that day but no cars available for anyone but Gold Status. Keep in mind, we booked MONTHS ago. They gave us the phone number to customer service. The agent answered and was loudly yawning on the phone! Needless to say the agent was no help and said it wasn’t corporates fault but the rental location. So I put the agent on the phone with the receptionist and let them argue it out. There was still no resolution. We ended up renting from Enterprise at the last minute because we had to get on the road that day. Thank God Enterprise came through for us. Hertz will never see us again.Hertz, you can keep that little generic response that you are writing on all the other reviews. You all are not trying to improve anything. You’ve got many complaints and nothing has been done to improve the service. So keep your lies.
