“I had chance to stop by the Sweetwater Package Store to check out new ownership and layout. Wow!! Big changes and appeal to the store. Before it was a simple; liquor will sell itself to casual customers and alcoholics. Now with new ownership is trying to bring a better experience with organization, layout, service, and staples. As for allocation, they have a front display with a few hot items and their prices are on par with Mega and World Beverage. As for major allocations, they have created a points system for customers, but like I told one of the owners, the average customer will never get Pappy Winkle etc because of big money players in the Duluth area who spin $20k a year in alcohol.
With that, I will recommend this spot because of location, all the variety, and good prices. Their wine and champagne section is one of the best in the area!!!”
