Mega Mart is a big Korean grocery store and a go-to place for many local and out-of-state Koreans due to its large selection of made in Korea goods. It sells Korean food, a lot of Korean snacks and ramen, and has good prices. The mart offers a big variety of fresh fruit and vegetables, seafood, and various goods. It focuses on quality with its seafood, fruits and veggies. They make and sell different kinds of fresh and tasty side dishes every day, along with rice cakes, kimbap, buns, sashimi, sushi, various types of stews, and premade Korean food. It is noted for probably the best premade Korean food and kimchi in town, with a better selection of kimchi and other premade banchan than other stores. The freshly made dumplings and other foods are considered far better than other offerings. The second floor sells a variety of daily necessities that are hard to find even in Korea, such as Korean blankets, home appliances, jars, and barbecue tables. A noted inconvenience is that purchases on the second floor require a separate payment from items on the first floor. The store can get crowded, especially during peak times on weekends when they operate only few cashiers, leading to waiting in line. However, some find it less crowded and congested than comparable stores. A convenient feature is the availability of free ice for coolers near the checkout doors.
