Petco is located in Duluth city in Gwinnett County off of Pleasant hill Road in Georgia, USA. Petco sells pet food, toys, and pet necessities. They also have a pet hotel, grooming area, and a vet clinic. Pet insurance has to be reimbursed. Fish, birds, hamster, and other pets are sold here. Cats are up for adoption.

Was in the store 06/18/24 around 7:30pm when i was looking for a harness for my dog. Picked up one and walk passed a sign that was about $10 cheaper so i grabbed that one instead, the sign had a pic and a few others hanging. Went to the register and it rings up a different price. I ask the cashier “Kaiyla” could she walk to the aisle to check out the price, we did, she saw the hang tag, and told me i should have looked on the back of the item for the correct price. I asked to speak to a manager she told me she was the manager on duty and the her manager would not be there until Thursday which was 2 days later and to call to talk to him. We went back and forth about the sign and price. The customer service i recieved this day was inferior! It wasn’t about the price (because i still bought the item) but it was the principle, “The customer service “. I ask for a bag, she stated it was ten cents, i asked again and instead of ringing me up she repeated it was ten cents, i asked THREE TIMES. She ask did i have ten cents BEFORE she proceed to ring me up! This day was the worst customer service I’ve received from this store. The careless of unconcern, and inconsiderate attitude to help fix the problem at hand! I’m a frequent shopper at this particular location until now my visit here was very unpleasant!

I went to Petco to look at live freshwater fish. The young lady working the aquatics department was extremely knowledgable and even shared photos of her own aquarium. You will not find a greater selection of fresh and saltwater fish at any of the other chain stores in the city. Actually, the selection was better here than Atlanta Aquarium in the same shopping center.

I was actually behind the previous one-star reviewer while he was in line updating his review. I go to this place weekly for my corgi's food and the service is always outstanding. I usually go in on the weekends but needed an unscheduled stop on a friday night and I was shocked at how busy it was. Id never seen that many customers in the store as long as I've been going there. I saw the employee coming from the back with this dude's fish and he had some serious hustle in his step. As we waited in line another associate came up and opened another register and the line was quickly taken care of. Everyone at that store is awesome and the store is always stocked with what I need.

They had the food my dogs eat and the checkout was great. I was greeted by several employees on the way in and to the back of the store

Very inexperienced staff the coral section is dying and when I brought it to their attention all they had to say it’s “okay” this is the second time I been to this facility and noticed it if they don’t have the right staff to care for this animals they should not even have it for sale .

Cashier not paying any attention as I stood there waiting to pay for several minutes, then when someone else walked up she told them to go to the middle register. I said "um, I was here first" and she continued to check them out. Definitely just going to go to the petsmart around the corner next time.
