Blaze and I had a very good experience with Vetco in Duluth. The staff was welcoming, friendly and kind. They did an amazing job with Blaze especially allowing me to comfort him as they provided his vaccines. Great job ladies!

This took too long to write because it shouldn't have happened in the first place. So back in March my mom and I took my dog to the groomers to get his nails trimmed and buffed, I normally come here as I felt it was safe and he could hope up on the table himself as he doesn't like being picked up. So first I walk in there was a lady in there grooming a dog she didn't even bother to say welcome or even acknowledge us it was off putting and rude, so we sat their for about 5 minutes still nothing and there was a lady behind us waiting to pick up her dog also until a girl walked out from the back (she just started there not too long ago) she was really friendly and greeted us and processed to ask the other lady if this was one of her dogs she said no that was the only time she ever spoke. So I told her I was just coming in for a nail trim, she said ok had me sign the paper work and stuff and I handed off my dog she said it should only be about 5-10 minutes max so I said ok and told her I'd be back. (NOTE he wasn't acting crazy he was excited and playful he's still a puppy) We left out the store to wait in the car but like 3-5 minutes later the lady from before knocked on the window she told us that the girl asked us to come back in because supposedly he tried to bite her. First off it was definitely unprofessional of her to tell another client's business, secondly we've only been gone 5 minutes what happened? So we walk back in the brings him out a processed to tell us that she took him to the back and tried to get him on the table he turned back at her so she tried again and this time he supposedly tried to nip/bite her and that's where she drew the line. I said ok that's never happened before we always come here and he always see someone different.She recommended that we take him to the vet to get MUZZLED to get his nails done I then told her, he's never been muzzled for anything but no she keeps insisting. Eventually she apologized and said she tried. When we left my dog was really reactive you could tell he was irritated , he isn't this jumpy it was really strange. This is where I thought did something just happen and she just swept it under the rug. He was irritated for like 3 hours I was now getting panicky, he eventually calmed down but I could tell he was just not ok. I called up the next day asked to speak to the grooming manger guy on the phone said we don't have one but you can speak to the store manger so I did I explained to him the situation my fear of what happened, he asked for my name and number and he would talk to the girl review the tape and call me back. About 15-20 minutes later I received a call he basically said the same stuff but explained that if the dogs try to bite them they have to refer them to the vet. Honestly I think the situation was swept under the rug and something happened to my dog next time I'll be going to pet smart at least they tell you if they did something wrong.

Do not get your dog groomed here. Employees are rude to customers and their pets. 0 stars if I could.

I waited to buy feeder crickets for 20 minutes with no one showing up. I walked an aisle over and walked back and an employee had appeared and was helping someone. I waited my turn and when I was next, the store manager shows up and says they can't sell any more crickets today. This store has zero interest in customer service...

Coming here there are always some great finds. Employees are always willing to help with anything I need. Found dog beds on sale very surprising since the XL ones are always hard to find. My dogs love them even though I bought two they squeeze themselves into just one.

Very unhappy with this petco. Had set an appointment for my fur baby for Vetco. Told me to wait in the car until called. Two hours passed, never got a call. I was super upset. Went in to confront them, they say it was out of their hands. I already paid for all my baby's shots she needed her second sets Bc she's under 15 pounds. Had to reschedule. Wasted my time. The customer service is so bad, i never get a smile and there's Always one cashier open. I hate the fact that this is my local petco. Something needs to change.

Rude and Dismissive "Supervisor" Joshua sold me a broken filtration and once I tried to exchange it for a working one he decided to implement the "no return" policy. Even though it was on the same day. Now, I understand with the situation at hand returns shouldn't be accepted due to cross contamination but in this particular situation the device was broken therefore it couldn't be put back on the shelf, which wouldn't interfere with COVID-19 guidelines. I know for a fact y'all are willing to do exchanges to other customers that have had moldy seeds sold to, but for some odd reason Joshua decided to make it seems like it was my fault for buying a defective device. " You took out of the store, there's nothing else I can do " those were his words, so basically is my fault for giving y'all business? Good to know, I will make sure to not make that mistake again. Not to mention I had gone to another petco and they said exceptions could be made since it was purchased the same day, but they didn't have my device on hand so I went back to this store where I originally purchased it and was dumbfounded by the way I was mistreated by the so called "supervisor" Joshua.
