I had a terrible experience at the Gwinnett place Ford service center. I took my 2014 Ford focus for a simple oil change with 130k miles on it. Car had 0 issues. Dropped off the car and spoke with the terrible customer service they had on main desk. The only good thing about the whole experience is that they offered a shuttle to take me home since my simple oil service was going to take about 4 hours. After 6 hours went by, I called to ask if my car was ready and I was told by Corey, my service rep, that my car needed a new battery, new serpentine belt, new a/c belt, all 4 tires, alignment and a few components on the suspension, coolant flush, motor mounts, etc etc. Funny enough I had just replaced most of those things within the last two months. They're obviously fishing for people who know nothing about cars to try and scam them, so PLEASE BEWARE! Asides that, they returned my car with a check engine light on for code P0420 which is to replace the catalytic converter on a car with not that many miles for that kind of repair. I've never had any issues while taking my car to the Ford in Buford. But I will never be bringing my car back to the service center in Duluth.

Took my car in for the 60,000 powertrain warranty and they didn't do anything to my car just took the code off and bring it back after 60,000 miles and now they see the real problem so now they want me to come out of pocket 1900 for something they claimed they already fixed and has warranty on and they don't have it in the "system" complet bs ! And they never answer the phone and the service advisor I had getting my invoices apparently quit

I'll make this short and quick. After your vehicle gets serviced from this place. Just make sure they did everything you paid for.

Brought my new vechile in for 5000 mile service , was told my appointment was 10am and should take 45 minutes to an hour , as it's a simple oilChange and check up. Well my one hour turned into 6.5 hours of being at the dealership, asking countless times and being told the reservation is with the service writer not the service performer ( so just show up first in is how it works ) I was not happy my service person tried his best and finally at 4 my car went back and service was done fast . He came out and apologized and said he spoke with the manager of his department and there was no charge for this due to the extreme amount of time and I was free to go. I left and a month later my cord account was deducted 13000 points for my service. I called multiple times and got zero anything from anyone there . I pray all goes dealers are not this scummy of places cause it really makes me second guess my choice in a car brand.

I have been having electrical issues with my 2012 Ford Escape recently and scheduled an appointment with Gwinnett Place Ford for 9/6/23. I showed up about 10-15 minutes early and waited for my appointment time and spoke with a service rep who told me that even though I was setup for an appointment with all of the information that was requested when I was setting up my appointment including make, model, trim level, and mileage. Not only was the vehicle that they set the appointment up for incorrect, but when I showed up I was told that they would not be able to look at my vehicle to determine what the issue I was having was. I decided not to raise questions about this and I would just take my business elsewhere to a smaller shop that we use pretty regularly. I did however need some Ford specific parts and decided to go ahead and try and order them through the dealership. The service rep got me the model numbers that I needed for the end covers on the windshield and told me that we could go ahead and order them and they would give me a call back once the items had come in, which should take about a week, and I could pick up and pay then since they were only $20-$25 each. I gave them my name and phone number again since they had already cancelled the appointment that I did show up for and waited but never received a call back. I called in today 9/18/23, 12 days after my initial ordering of the items, and asked for a status update attributing the delay in a call back was due to the material not coming in or possibly being on backorder and I would just have to wait a bit longer. No, when I gave the person I got on the phone with my information, they had no records of my parts being ordered. So, not only was my appointment for a diagnosis scheduled but not kept because they did not want to assist with the issues that I was having, but the parts that I was told would be ordered never were. How can you as a representative for one of the largest vehicle manufacturers in the world, present yourself like this and have such an apparent disregard for your current and prospective customers time and money? I now have to order these parts through a different avenue and wait again since I was lied to by Gwinnett Place Ford. I find it appalling that such behavior is acceptable to Gwinnett Place Ford.

Wow... I was about to bring my Ford Flex to this place for repairs, but after reading these review, I'm gonna take the hard pass and go elsewhere. I'm only leaving this review because I hope management or somebody who actually cares takes some time to notice how badly this business is being affected by this tsunami of horrible experiences and bad reviews. You guys need to do better. Hard working people simply want the service they need for a price that's fair and reasonable. It sounds like you guys may need a complete staff overhaul (including management) along with a reassessment of your company's values. Because from the sound of it, "customers" are not valued here, which is why I'm saving myself the headache and taking my vehicle elsewhere.

Auto taillight replacement. Alaina Conner went out of her way to contact the consumer complaint department and get approval to fix my car so I didn't have to call again. She definitely puts the customer first and I really appreciate that. She is awesome and Ford is lucky to have her!

Mike was stellar to deal with. He went above and beyond to communicate with us at our convenience. We were under a bit of pressure to get our car in and out as quickly as possible and he was able to accommodate this. Most dealerships told us we were looking at a couple months of a waitlist and mike had us out the door in 4 days. I am unhappy, however with the price and fees that I fear we may have paid for the service. An oil pan total replacement books as a 2.5 hr service. We paid $985 dollars in labor to just have it resealed. This would mean that we paid an hourly rate of $394 which is astronomically higher than the industry standard. I fear that because we had a warranty on the car, the price was over inflated and the cost of some of the labor was passed on to us. The warranty covered everything except for the $100 deductible and some labor. After booking the job, I now know that this was most likely because the cost of labor was way to high and the warranty company was not going to pay for this. Shame on Ford for taking advantage of their customers in such a way. This truly was a disappointment.

*REAL DOCUMENTS INCLUDED*Took my car in to have a diagnostic bc it is making a humming noise in the ***REAR*** around 50-60 mph(AS SHOWN IN TICKET FROM DEALERSHIP)MIKE was my advisor...MIKE CALLS SAYS "MAN YOUVE GOT A WHOLE BUNCH OF NOISE BUT WHAT YOURE HEARING IS THE ***FRONT AXLE***"(I don't have a bunch of noise, in fact the only noise I hear or ever heard is the noise that they were supposed to fix)So They replace the ***FRONT AXLE*** and tell me it's fixed...I go pick up my car and spend ***$761*** and of course the problem is NOT FIXED sooo what did I pay for?I asked for a refund (and offered to pay diagnostic fees) to be fair or if they could make it right and the service manager laughed in my face. He said they recommended other repairs and that's why it's not fixed... bro you replaced the ***FRONT AXLE*** when your service advisor clearly states ***NOISE IN THE REAR BETWEEN 50-60 MPH***AGAIN SO WHAT did I PAY FOR?Anywho I tried to be reasonable but when the service manager laughed at my frustration and didn't even offer to half way make it right, it displayed the lack of care for customers and now I'm not surprised they stole $761 from me.(and if you didn't then Wtf do you call taking someone's money without fixing the problem?)ITS OK THO, y'all's day is coming at Ford Duluth. Steal $761 from the working public and think it's ok huh? You're a multi billion dollar brand and you steal $761??? Lolsomeone who works there will pay for that $761 you just stole one way or another. It's just how the world works so KEEP THE MONEY crooks!
