Many people know it’s not easy finding a reliable and trustworthy mechanic. There’s a stigma of being taken advantage of or overcharged. I can confidently say that Southern Motorworks took fantastic care of my Chevy Colorado, were very thorough, and provided excellent customer care! I’ll be taking my truck to them for anything moving forward, knowing that it’s in trustworthy and capable hands.

Ron & the Southern Motor Works team are dynamic at what they do! I was told by the dealership (who shall remain anonymous) that I needed a new engine because it locked up. I was not willing to accept that. A friend of mine referred me to Southern Motor Works and I had my vehicle towed tot heir shop. 5 hours of inspecting my vehicle and Ton called and informed me that my engine was fine, I needed a new compressor. Instead of $7K the dealership tried to charge me, the issue was only $3K. Southern Motor Works was literally a lifesaver. No need to second guess, get to Southern Motor Works if you care about your vehicle.

Finally, i have found the one. Referred by a friend. Great service and great atmosphere. Saved me over 1,700 over what dealers quoted. There is a reason they reside on Gwinnetts Best. Worth a drive for non county residents also.

My first time using SM. I had a power steering leak and got 3 estimates from other shops. SM did a great job fixing and testing the leaks and I won't say how much less they were compared to the other 3 but it was $$$.

Highly recommend Jimmy and the team, they are very reasonable and don’t feel salesy! Not only are they knowledgeable, but they’re very personable and treat you as a human! They alway have complimentary drinks while you wait.
