Spent hundreds of dollars here and not once did they mention the loyalty program. I went to Athens and they did when I was spending much less than the duluth store. Come on...

The new space is amazing!! The staff is always super helpful. Be sure to check their events to see how crowded the store will be.

Went to a pre-release event. You're supposed to be awarded with a booster pack for winning a match.Upon attempting to retrieve my winnings a lady had informed me that I would not get my rewards due to my opponent not physically being there to report the outcome. My first opponent left after their first round so I had no option of correcting this.What's funny is nobody stated anything about this prior as I would have asked my opponent to come up to report had I known it was mandatory.What's even funnier is all of the records are kept online and the employee can search them by searching my name.I fact checked this by talking with a friend of mine who works at the Athens store.It's just a booster pack but it's kind of ridiculous. Even another level up employee agreed that was wrong.Also the Duluth store did not inform me of the loyalty program even though I made a purchase of over $300. The Athens store informed me though.It was a good run while it lasted I guess.

I want to start this review by saying that I've been a loyal customer to level up for the past five years. I started shopping there and having great experiences back when they had a tiny shop in the corner of the mall. I have been to countless pre releases for MTG and played countless hours of tabletop games at level up as well as spending several pay checks on products. The staff has always been friendly and extremely helpful to me and my family. Because of how great level up has been I have been more than happy to try and buy everything I need from them before going to other stores or online retailers. Not once have I ever had an issue with level up and have always felt it was a fantastic LGS before today. For several years I have been apart of their loyalty program and met the highest tier. That tier consisted of 15% off of most products. Due to how much I spend at level up this was a big reason I continued to keep shopping here. Today I went in to buy some tabletop miniatures and while checking out I noticed that my 15% off discount had not been applied. Now if it was a little purchase I would have let it go but spending over $200 that 15% makes a difference. I asked and the employee went to grab a manager. The manager, who has always been great, stated "it's our April fools joke that's not a joke". The manager stated that upon April 1st a new loyalty program came into effect and you now had to spend Five thousand dollars to get that 15%. Now even though that's a lot of money I understand that the business has every right to change a loyalty program. But why not grandfather people in? Especially people who have been loyal customers for 5 years and had that discount roughly the same amount of time.

Love this place!!! They have gachapon machines, Anime Figures, Puzzles, Things you can put together like music boxes and tiny home stuff, Pokémon items, Cards of all kinds, Kits of planes and boats and such but also Gundams, Board games of all kinds and tournament sections along with Pinball and Arcade machines it's like a Nerdy little heaven and I mean that in the best way possible as I'm a nerd myself ♡ Nerds Rule

I love this place. Many times, I come in here just to see the cool environment, but many times do the claw and gapcha machines get a purchase or two out of me. Staff have been very nice to me so far, and I love that a place like this exists in an age where these shops are scarce.
