This place was kinda weird. The people there weren't really nice, some of the things were too expensive. We came drove for about 30 minutes to drive here but it was not worth it. Petco is so much better including pets you can purchase or adopt. We will not return

Polite and timely. The scale wasn't accurate at first. Registered my dog as 75 pounds which I knew to be incorrect. It was starting from 25 pounds instead of 0. Probably bc I stood on it to get me doggie too..but, I did step off and it did not go to 0...had to be reset. Recommend techs always check to ensure starts at 0.

I REFUSE to return to this store ever again. I've walked in without an acknowledgement. I've spent over $150 at any given time and never an offer to carry my bags to the car. I've witnessed boxes of crates in the aisles, that I tripped on. Shelves are never fully stocked. I've watched young kids congregate and chat than tending to customers. I've walked in and no one is at the entrance and I had to seek out a cashier. Being a pet sitter, dog mom of 4 and foster of 3, I've spent ALOT of money yearly at this location. Today, I was pretty much told to hurry up because they were closing as I got to my car, one of the girls was greeted by her boyfriend whom she followed to smooch on in the parking lot. I miss the old staff. Angie, Adrienne, Amber. I mattered. Sad to see what this store has become.

Ok I've now been standing here by the aquatic section for 10 minutes and I'm the only person in the store and no one has come to me to see if I need anything. I've been staring at the fish for 10 whole minutes and I even have time to write this review and still no help there are two associates in the store and no one wants to help me. Wow. By the way still no help and both persons saw me when I walked in I promised (I'm black). This is why I go to pet land whenever I can. Frustrated

We were at the cash register waiting patiently (for over 10 mins) to check out. Emily saw us and Instead of checking us out, she purposely rung up another family before us. It was POOR customer service. If I could give them -3 stars I would.

Called at 5:50 to see what Time they Close and she said in 5 minutes. Who closes at 5:55.. anyway I try to support these businesses instead of pet smart or pet co. Oh they never have any purina pro plan French bulldog or royal canine French bulldog. Back to pets mart I go.

I just had a horrible experience at the VIP Petcare clinic location on State Bridge Rd. in Duluth, GA. I went to the store to have my 16 year old dog vaccinated. When I arrived, I wasn't warmly greeted as I have been many times in the past, but was immediately asked if I had registered my pet for the clinic. I indicated that I had not, and was directed to follow the instructions that were on the sign in the window. I asked the VIP Petcare employee to clarify where exactly the instructions could be found because from my view, there wasn't a sign. Again I was pointed towards the front window of the store. I went outside and there weren't any instructions in the window. As I looked around, another customer directed me to a signboard that was down the sidewalk where you could only view the info if you were coming from a certain side of the parking lot. I followed the instructions, and registered my pet. I waited in my car for 15-20 minutes until I received the text message indicating that my pet was ready to be seen. After going into the clinic area, I tell the VIP Petcare employee that my pet has previously had reactions to vaccinations, and would need to have Benadryl administered. I was told that they no longer give Benadryl due to the assigned wait times, and as a result, they would not be able to vaccinate my pet. There should have been questioning during the registration process to find out this information to avoid wasting customer's time. I wasted a hour of my time from my drive time and wait time. Out of all of my years of being a customer, I have never received such unfriendly and unhelpful service. This experience fell short of "VIP" treatment, and will result me looking for other companies that appreciate my business.

Always have everything in stock I'm looking for. My go to place for feeder mice they have the biggest sizes which is great for my lizards and their prices are reasonable. All the ladies working great you as soon as walking in and are happy to help. Very knowledgable manager too!

I am so happy with the customer service that this store offers; Super friendly and helpful staff! I visit the store 3+ times/wk (dog is a picky eater) and have always appreciated the staff and the stock they carry.

I never saw this place until today and it's amazing! It's very affordable and the staff is very welcoming and kind! They are very helpful and friendly and I was very pleased with my visit there. You can find a lot of neat and inexpensive pet items. My cat loves the toys and treats I got for Pet Supermarket! I'm excited to return!

Not only is this chain more affordable, I've found any location I've been to to be staffed with helpful and friendly staff. It's the Publix of pet stores! This past week my small dog had surgery to remove 2 cysts and I went there immediately to purchase a pillow cone. I brought it up to the register and paid for it, and asked how to put it on. The store manager Tammy, and another staffperson, Sonia, took time to put it on, and we realized it was the wrong size. They then got the next size up, and again took the time to put that one on, even blowing up the balloon themselves. They probably spent almost 30 minutes helping me for what was a very small purchase. The next day I returned because my dog was able to still get at his stiches, and Tammy was there again. I ended up getting another type of cone, returning the one I bought the day before, and Tammy again did the work of threading his collar thru the cone . I can't imagine Petsmart or another big box store giving me that much personal help. This type of personal attention by a business's staff makes me a very loyal customer who will relate this story to others. It may not have seemed like a big thing to Tammy, but it made me a committed customer and her superiors should be grateful she is representing them in such a positive manner.
