Car received wasn’t clean on the outside. Agent asked for a review before providing good customer service. Also agent offered an upgrade that cost $100 for one day when my rental was only $33 for the day. Why would I upgrade to a car for an extra $100 for 1 day? That’s not a good deal! I was shocked !

Small rental car offices are usually not that great, but this Avis breaks the norm. The lady who helped me (I don't have her name, but wow, talk about customer service). Very willing to work with their customers. Cars are Avis, so nothing different there.

I have noooo idea why I keep renting from this place . They never have any cars .. I book reservations sometimes months in advance and they never have cars come time for pickup. The owner is a bilingual woman who at times come off rude but I do think she means good .There is a high turnover with staff because of the disgruntled customers ( in which I don't blame them). Their cars are a bit sketchy too . One car I rented was making a rattle sound whenever I would hit the gas . Do yourself a favor and rent else where .

ZERO STARS. I read the reviews and still gave this place a chance. Booked my reservation a month in advance. Called a week before to make sure my reservation was confirmed. Was greeted by a rude young lady who said “it’s too early for me to confirm anything for you & there’s nothing I can do”; no customer service training at all. Called customer service two days before & they confirmed a car would be available. 40 minutes before pickup, just got a “courtesy call” that there aren’t any cars available. When I explained that I confirmed, the young man over the phone said “it’s the day before thanksgiving”. Really? This is ridiculous & bad business. Do not waste your time with this place!

Zero stars!!! Beware of this location. Customer service doesn't exist. Tried to return my car and they close at 6 but when I arrived they locked the door 10 min. earlier. Another customer and I waited then they came out turned off lights at 6:01 pm. Young lady on phone saying she's closed thru the door. We called customer svc to report the location and submitted proof that location closed earlier than they were supposed to since we took a picture of time infront of door. She claimed to be a manager hopped in her tan charger and pulled off blasting music talking on phone. Very rude when I came to get car as well. Car wasn't ready even though i had reservations. No apology said car needed to be clean and it takes 20 min. Upon return she said nothing to me handed me keys and ask for me to sign off that there was no damages. Never coming back to this location again.

Do not rent from this location. All of the reviews are accurate of how they scam their customers. The sales rep added etoll pass fee to my reservation which I never asked for.She also charged me for gas when my tank was returned full. She said that the system does that automatically regardless of if you return it with a full tank or not. I rent from Avis about six times a year and I’ve never ran into this experience. Avis corporate if you were reading this you have employees at this location that are frauding your customers and are a terrible representation of your company.

This place is very poor service ; first of all I was in lobby and only person on counter ; she said she started working two days ago ; I made a reservation for 12 passenger van - ford ; she took my money and checked me in without telling me that I was getting a 7 person van; when she showed my car outside - I told her this is not what I reserved ; she said I cannot do anything- this is all I have . I told her to return my money and she told me to call -1-800 number and it took me two hours for them to refund my money . I asked customer service to find another place with 12 passenger van and they did not honor the original price ; I ended going to different company ; inconvenience of reserving at this location is not worth it. If you see this is your pickup location; cancel in advance . All the people in lobby (3) had similar issues.

Had an extremely unpleasant encounter with the person at the counter this morning. We had made a reservation for a mini van and the person in the counter said that they do not have any vehicles available because corporate sent them all to the airport. Meanwhile, there was another gentleman who came in after me, and he was given the mini van, and when asked why they didn't give the reserved mini van to me, the guy at the counter said he has to honor that gentlemans reservation, but he decided not to honor my reservation!The guy at the counter was extremely rude and unpleasant to talk to. I will no longer be coming to this store or rent form Avis for having such a terrible customer service.

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!I will never everrrrrrr rent through Avis again. I don't care if I have to drive to Atlanta. Either that or rent through another rental car system. It won't be AVIS. that is a Promise!!!!

The best rental experience I've ever experienced. Fast, friendly, well organised, professional and Clean. The car was clean and felt brand new with all of the options requested. Easy pickup and even easier return. A couple billing changes that were addressed immediately and resolved we faster than expected. Great job to those hardworking, professional, customer relationship developers at this Dunwoody location. Keep up the great work as you have earned.all of my future car rental business. Thank you for service.P.S. All I ask is to save me a fully loaded. Ford Edge brand new with full sunroof and the Titanium Sport package if possible. Thank you

I am a premier member and rented from this location. Customer service was extremely bad , wait time to pick up the car was ridiculous (as a premium member you shouldn't even have to wait , the car should be ready with keys to go) staff was rude and not helpful at all. Corporate should do better !!!!

Avis canceled my 12 passenger van rental that I desperately needed for a retreat the DAY OF. They blamed the t-storms that hit my area as the reason they didn't have vans available for me. How do you call the DAY OF and notify me? Also, they did NOTHING to help me. They kept saying "we are sorry, we have no vans available. there's nothing we can do for you." ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. WOW. Customer service, supervisors all did nothing to help. DO NOT USE!

Unfortunately, the negative reviews of this place are all correct. I walked in on Saturday morning around 9:10am and there were several people ahead of me. One of the Avis representatives and another customer seemed to be getting into some kind of heated disagreement, at some point (with an attitude) he asked her to get out of line so that they could work with those of us still in line. By the time I get to the representative things are going well until I'm asked about insurance. They insisted I needed to have liability insurance, but on the wall in the office it states that Avis provides liability insurance to the minimum required in GA. I point to the sign and state this several times, and the male representative at one point just says "management requires you to have liability insurance" with the nastiest attitude. There was no explanation as to why it would be needed, especially as I've rented cars without it at other Avis locations in GA. At that point I tell him that I'm canceling the reservation. I walked out and made a reservation with a direct competitor down the street, where they not only were able to work with me with my situation, but also had a pleasant attitude and overall demeanor. I've used other Avis locations in Atlanta without any issues, but after this experience I would highly discourage people from using this location. Terrible attitudes and terrible customer service.

One hour process to rent a car. Only staffed with one man. He's chatting on his cell phone (ear piece) while processing car rentals. What a joke this place is. Employee has to do all the paperwork, walk you to the vehicle for inspection and all at a snails pace- while on the phone. Save your time. Rent elsewhere
