After buying a wig a LYN's in Alpharetta and the girl cutting wigs ruined it by cutting the sideburns so short I couldn't wear it, I found Beatrice! She is fantastic! My wig is made a lot better than the one I paid more money for at LYN's. Beatrice is very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. She has been very patient with my 91 year old mom who changed her mind several times on what she wanted. I bought 2 wigs and she bought 1. I was never told by anyone else but Beatrice to wear my wig for a week before cutting. Everyone that works at Bernadette's is friendly. I will go no where else to buy a wig. I know I can go back and see Beatrice if I have any problems with my wigs. She even sent me a video on how to wash it. Love this place!

I’ve been using this salon for over 7 years and am always blown away by this group of ladies. My go to stylist is Bekah because she is a blonde expert. She’s always able to blend my natural coloring with highlights and lowlights so beautifully. You will just love being around all of the women at this salon because they are truly and you can tell they all love each other. Front reception is always friendly and Flora is my favorite whenever she can shampoo if Bekah has another client. She remembers me, my kids and is so personable. The salon is clean and stylish and they carry amazing products. I highly recommend this salon if you are looking for a great place to get your hair done.

When I saw Beatrice for a consultation for a wig. She was very pleasant, patient, understanding, etc. We decided on a wig but I asked her not to order it until right before my surgery. I put down $100 for a deposit and Beatrice assured me it would be applied to the cost of the wig. By the time it was ordered, I was told it was back-ordered but nobody ever contacted me to tell me. I was subsequently scheduled to come in and see Tory (after calling there 3 or 4 times) who stated that the color I specifically wanted was backordered but other colors were not. She pushed me to find another color in the same wig and was not very pleasant about it. When I left, I said to my husband, "I did not like her at all". At one point, Tory even said to me, "You chose that color" when I mentioned my hesitancy about the new color. No, Tory, that was my second choice. Then she quoted me a price of $500 when Beatrice had told me twice it was $375. Tory told me the deposit DOES NOT go toward the cost of the wig. I have spent the last week ruminating over my choice and decided that it was not worth the $100 wig deposit I would forfeit to pay over $350 for my second choice. They can keep the wig or return it but I am going to get the wig somewhere else. Much better experience at LNY salon in Alpharetta. If they truly were an ethical business they would return my $100 deposit. Either these people do not know what theyare doing or they are lying outright to get more money from their customers.2 weeks later and after sending the owner a letter - I have heard nothing. Turns out Beatice is the owner. Great example of customer servicse.

I’ve left this salon in tears not once, but twice. The first time was two years ago when an inexperienced hair stylist essentially turned my brown hair blonde. It was truly horrible. Even the hair washing girl was having a heart attack because she knew it was way too light. Today, I was willing to give it another shot because it was just a haircut. I have long straight hair. I didn’t have any layers or anything. Hard to mess that up. Well, when it was over my hair was completely lopsided. I mean like an inch of a difference on each side. I was so upset, and I asked her to please fix it. Now my hair is even, but it’s much shorter than I wanted. We even had a discussion during my appointment about how I could never go short. Here I am, with short hair. Honestly you’d be better off going to Great Clips than you would be here. Don’t even think about getting balayage, let alone a simple hair cut.Services: Hairstyling

I’ve been going to Bernadettes for over a decade and hands down it’s the best hair salon in Dunwoody. Highly recommend and ask for Laura.

This isn’t my usual place, but my 93-year-old grandmother lives in Dunwoody and I take her here when I don’t feel like driving all over the world to take her to my usual place. I love this nail place because aside from doing good work on nails, they are so kind of patient with my grandmother and treat her like royalty. Other than that the quality of service is good and the pricing is pretty normal. If you live in the area, I recommend it!

My wife gets her hair done here. The main complaint being that after having a haircut and highlights the stylist does not blow dry your hair unless you pay extra for it. They point you to a blow dry station for you to do it yourself. How are you supposed to know what the cut/color looks like if the hair is dripping wet?! All the other salons dry the hair for free. For $300+ not including the price of a blow dry at the end of a haircut and color service this is ridiculous. Everyone was super nice but if this is standard practice then we will have to find somewhere else.

I’ve been going to Bernadette’s for 19 years. I found them when I needed a wig after losing my hair during chemotherapy. The owner, Cody, is one of the nicest ladies you will ever meet. All of the stylists have been there a long time and are very professional and friendly! Everyone I’ve ever referred has loved them and remained loyal customers! It’s a friendly atmosphere and you’ll look great when you leave.Service: Hair colouring

I have been going here for years and I've always got a pretty decent haircut.I went in last week to get a totally different haircut with layers and Liela totally butchered my hair I will never go back there again she even acted like she was pissed off about cutting my hair. Maybe she cut it badly so I wouldn't come back. I do have thick curly hair. Unless you are just getting a trim, at $70 bucks I would go somewhere else.

I went there to get my wig cut after going through chemo. They had a separate area for me to feel comfortable. They are very kind and professional. Very happy with the service received.

The stylists at Bernadettes are very nice. I enjoyed talking with them. Their salon is clean. That being said, I do not think they know what they’re doing and charged me $200 to strip dye out of my hair and redye my hair. The result was that my hair was almost as dark as before (not the color I wanted at all). They then stripped their own dye out of my hair. My hair was very patchy, damaged, and smelly. I had to go to another salon and pay $160 to correct the work Bernadettes did to my hair. The other salon gave me the result that I wanted and told me Bernadettes used cheap color remover which would never result in the consistent, lighter color that I wanted. They said I could have spent $10 at cvs to achieve the same result as my $200 tab.

I have been there 3 times. Always greeted with a smile. I was referred here by a coworker. They were right. Great experience! Alexandria is awesome! So tough to find the right stylist but I got lucky. Definitely worth a try! You will not be disappointed.
