Sean arrived as arranged, had everything he needed, got the job done quickly, cleanly, and professionally. I only wish every vendor could be this easy to do business with. I rarely leave reviews. But I think I have to leave one for Sean of Dunwoody Door Lift Co.! He's one of the best contractors I have ever worked with, in the whole northern eastern Atlanta suburban area.
He's excellent! Just excellent, he fixed my garage door very quickly and is very honest and professional, with very reasonable charge. Don't bother calling other companies, who will likely try to sell a new garage door to you which costs you an arm and a leg.
Nowadays, it's hard to find an honest contractor like Sean.

Sean came out within 15 minutes after calling him…He was great, replacing my cables and springs on one door and providing maintenance on my other door. The price was very reasonable and he was very informative and personable…

Dunwoody Door Lift Co has been a wonderful company to do business with for 10+ years. Sean kept things running smoothly. Eventually the original motor needed to be replaced. When it came time to replace the old 1988 wooden garage door there was nobody else I would consider for the job.

I have used these guys at least 3 times (probably 4, honestly) and they are truly great at what they do. We have a 3 car garage, one side is a 2-door and the other a single - the single stopped working two days ago. I called them this morning and someone was at our house within an hour, and he replaced the entire spring/coil mechanism in 45 minutes for $250 while also looking at the second garage door and doing routine maintenance on it without me even having to ask, and for no extra charge. If you have an issue with your garage door and don't know what the problem or the fix is... just call them. Seriously. It's so worth the money.

for over 35 years Dunwoody Door has done all of our garage door repair - this week we had a different condition than any before and John from DD created a remarkable repair that is a work of art, it far exceeded what I expected - if the entire marketplace and workforce (or more of it) did their work in a way comparable to Dunwoody Door there would be far fewer complaints and worries about the economy. For the quality and benefit of their Work I am grateful to know and call on this group.

I have used Dunwoody Door Lift twice now. Both times they came out on the same day. Both Techs were great and extremely thorough. They addressed the issue and then did a tune-up on the entire door and opener while they were there. I would highly recommend them!

On one of the coldest nights yet, our garage door started to malfunction. I tried to manually close the garage only to cause more issues leaving the garage door stuck. Unfortunately, the office was closed but I followed up the next morning and Sean came out quickly to assess the issue. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and just an all around nice person. He completed the job promptly and for a reasonable price. I am so grateful to have reached out to them on the recommendations of many neighbors. Please support this local business!

I have recently used Dunwoody Door Lift for the replacement of my garage door motor and had to spread the word that they are worthy of the praise. Every aspect of the process was easy and professional. Overall the project took about an hour to complete and roughly 500$ in total. Communication and expertise would be what I would say is most important for me when looking for these services and they could not have been easier to deal with and so far the motor is working perfectly!
