When I walked in the lady working was really nice. she asked me if it was my first time, and I said yes, she explained the menu to me and A little history about their restaurant, and made me feel comfortable. I ordered the omelette and pancakes. Food was good.

I’ve ordered from here through DoorDash about 3-4x now and every time my food has arrived in a decent time frame and is still hot and tasty.The food is so good! I know the wings look a lil funny in the pic due to the seasoning and breading but I swearrrrr they are soooo good, they were crispy and seasoned to perfection! The pancakes were so fluffy and big I couldn’t even finish them. Also, they paid attention to my order notes and substituted my eggs for grits with no issue and I love that.Not sure if it was purposely or not but they even put a pack of Sugar Babies in my bag which I thought was so cute!☺️ I def recommend this spot and will be back as well! Did I mention they are very reasonably priced, give out a good portion and the food is good?!

Food wasn't bad. I had some flour outside my Salmon Croquettes, so it was a little Sandy when eating. They give you two Croquettes, but the sides are very small in portions so you really don't need two. I had the potatoes and they were really good.

This restaurant is truly AWESOME!!!! I was sincerely treated like a queen from the moment I walked through the door!!! I ordered an omelette with ham, bell peppers, and mushrooms, and it was the best ever!!!!! Thank you, D’Essence Cafe!!!!!

Extremely disrespectful anytime I have tried to call in an order I’m put on hold and hung up on, or spoken too disrespectfully. Have been here multiple times, it’s usually the same three people working. Very unorganized establishment.
