I have been to my fair share of Dollar General stores for at least 20 years and have had no issues with any of the stores I’ve frequented. I’ve been to this particular store at least 3 times over the last couple of months and every single time the store has been in disarray. The main problem is checking out which takes at least 15 minutes. I’ve been in on different days/times and each time the line is long with only one cashier checking out customers. One self checkout station is pretty much closed because it is either stacked with inventory or maybe returns..I don’t know. The other self checkout is also closed or a cashier may come over to check out a customer. I go to Dollar General because it’s usually convenient and quick, however yesterday was the last time I’ll set foot in this location.

A great place to go to pick up necessities so you don't have to go to a grocery store or drug store. There is no customer service and it's hard to get around the merchandise trolleys in the aisle. The employees are busy working hard but they are understaffed. Since the self service registers are closed there is a back up at the cash registers. The cashiers are disgruntled due to the customers complaining and being rude.

I am new to the community and I’ve never experienced being treated so horribly. The manager of this store had the police show up to my house and arrest me in front of my children. The machine at the self checkout didn’t read my $2 party plates and I didn’t have a clue. I spent over $45 and have NEVER committed a crime in my LIFE. This lady nearly ended my professional career behind a lie!! Shame on her. I am a Social Worker, Mother, Wife, and I volunteer in Putnam. I have my Masters Degree, I put myself through school, and for this person to nearly take everything that I worked hard for because she has issues with certain people is horrifying!! I hope that folks avoid this store at all cost because if it can happen to me, it can happen to you!! There is another Dollar General in Eatonton and there is a very nice Family Dollar in Greensboro. Do not risk being profiled or mistreated by a Karen with an agenda!! I was taught to treat All people with respect and kindness. This lady needs to be fired as she is a stain on the community. Where I’m from a worker would’ve helped by telling you that there was an error, but wow!!! News flash lady, if you continue to mistreat people in the community they won’t shop at the store. What will you do when the store closes down considering your skill level? Owner be aware.

Worker have bad attitudes and no customer service skills.. no even a star DG needs to vet there help better because it pathetic to be snubbed like that in on of the wealthiest parts of this state.

Large inventory but this has to be the dirtiest DG store that I have been. Merchandise is all over the place and there is trash on the floors. Someone needs to make a better effort here.

I will never ever shop here again. Bought a set of billboard Bluetooth headphones and they had static when you connect, and the store manager was very rude and humiliating about not returning the headphones because she seen wax. They go in ears and are white. Go figure.

Great place to get nice things from home to everything in between but the older white guy that works here is bad for business! Very Unprofessional. He makes you not want to shop here with his attitude. I will continue to travel to the local eatonton and milledgeville area from now on in stead of lake oconee.
