Dollar Stores in Eatonton, GA

“Until yesterday I've never had a problem with this Dollar Tree. It's one of my favorite .The store is clean and organized and the customer service is always great. But yesterday I went in and did my weekly shopping. As I'm checking out I noticed there was a new person at the register. She proceeds to check me out. I had a couple of household items and some food items. One of the items that I purchased was mothballs which she decided to put in the same bag as my food. I kindly asks her to place the mothballs in a separate bag. She stops what she's doing looks up at me, rolls her eyes and rudely snatches the mothballs out of the bag and placed them in a different one . I told her that I wasn't trying to be mean or anything but I don't want my food to taste like mothballs. She never looked up, didn't smile or acknowledge anything that I said.
I don't know about anyone else but I hate the smell of mothballs so I certainly would not want my food to taste like them . Not to mention they are highly toxic.
She should already know that you don't put chemicals in the bag with food.
If you're not a people person then customer service is not the job for you.”

“I went into the store last week and had the most pleasant experience. My husband and I arrived right when the doors opened, and the employee greeted us with a smile and such a positive attitude — which is rare these days! She helped us find exactly what we were looking for and made us feel like our needs were just as important as if she were shopping for herself. I truly appreciate her eagerness to help and the warm, welcoming energy she had. It made our visit exceptional.
We will definitely be back to this DG before we go to any other ones around the house. DG needs more employees like Tameca!!”

“The store is so new and clean and the employees are very helpful and friendly. The location is great and very convenient for me. I'll be shopping here on a regular basis.”

“A great place to go to pick up necessities so you don't have to go to a grocery store or drug store. There is no customer service and it's hard to get around the merchandise trolleys in the aisle. The employees are busy working hard but they are understaffed. Since the self service registers are closed there is a back up at the cash registers. The cashiers are disgruntled due to the customers complaining and being rude.”
