Elberton is my home town and I love to visit. However the cleanilness of the deli and Corner Cafe at Ingles was terrible. There were so many flies...everywhere. Please get those areas cleaned up and make it more presentable.

Shopped at the grocery stores and hot points for gas. 5 cents off for up to 20 gallons. I have a 27 gallon tank, so I had to redo it all when the pump stopped at 20 gallons.

The prices are good compared to other grocery stores and the selection of fruits and vegetables is great ! However , the staff in the deli area are so rude !!!! During three different visits I have asked questions about the choices and meals . While a simple reply would do I had two other people interrupt as though I was trying to try to get something for free or trick them. When a customer asks questions it is not necessary to have another employee and or two rush over to the counter to answer or to butt in rudely. To the customer on the other side of the counter they appear to be very aggressive !!!! On several occasions I was told I had to take the last of the chicken which had been sitting on top of the counter after an elderly gentleman decided he did not want the food. I explained that I had waited for 10 mins while they prepared the things he needed and I should not have to have what he did not want. The staff was extremely rude to me !! There was hot chicken which they would not serve me. They also do not understand the pricing and refused to sell me an extra breast . The cashers use curse words and it seems they do not know "FRIGGIN" is offensive . One of the cashiers actually told me she was on her menses and had bad cramps when I asked if she was having a nice day . She said she had not been given a break and was hungry so she ate a candy bar out of her pocket while she rang up my food. The store is very clean and the aisles are clean and well organized but the deli staff and cashiers need more training.
