I placed a pick up order today for 12pm. I forgot I had to do more shopping so I went into the store to shop in person as well. I completed my shopping around 11:30am. I spoke with customer service while in the store to see if it would be ok to just pull the 6 items from the pickup order’s list myself since I was already in the store. I was given the ok to do so and was told that the transaction would be completed there and I could purchase my other items with the cashier. I then take the 6 items (ALREADY PAID IN FULL ONLINE) to the customer service desk to be marked as a fulfilled order in their system by an attendant that stated he was just about to work on my order. Well no worries because I was already ahead and have picked them for him, which I was given the ok to do so. Simple right? Wrong! I was met by a manager (Brandon) just to tell me that he would not authorize this because orders are distributed by routes and I could not just pick items myself. Excuse me but this being a pickup order and NOT A DELIVERY order shouldn’t be a problem. I am compliant with policies and procedures, however, this was the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. No way you’re going to tell me that “routes” are given to employees and you can’t just complete the order in the system. Mind you, the same respectful gentleman that was assisting me on my order was the same kind young man that brought my order to my car after waiting an additional 21 mins in my car for no apparent reason. We need more managers with better customer service skills and common sense.

This is the worst store ever to do grocery shopping. The employees congregate in front of the store to socialize. There are no registers open at all!! The self check out should be in option not a forced choice. The Security guard guy in front of the store fails to greet . Unfortunately, this has become the new normal at this store. The Store manager walks around as if he’s in distress. He’s always frowning, it’s obvious he would rather be anywhere, but Kroger. This is the culture of the entire store. I would suggest a leadership that leads by example if management would lead, the employees will surely follow. This store lacks common courtesy, and cleanliness, but is filled with rudeness, and empty shelves. I just left a shopping cart filled with on groceries on aisle seven, because I refuse to shop, check out, and bag my groceries. The store needs an internal makeover from management down to the employees. I will the shopping at Ingles across the street it’s much cleaner they have cashier’s to check you out and bagger to bag. This would be your better choice for any individual reading this review . This groceries store needs to be closed if improvement is not an option. Another unsatisfied customer!!!!

Went there for can goods just for one of their cashiers to hack my EBT card and steal all of my food stamps money. Be careful swiping your cards in the checkout lanes.

I was trying to purchase the $5.00 ribs( cooked food). But the employee stated it will be ready in a minute. I did my shopping checking back frequently to see if it was ready. After 45 minutes the food was not ready, so I went ahead to pay for my groceries. I requested to speak with a manager to discuss the problem. I could tell by his body language and the conversation that he lack management skills. He was no more helpful than dealing with those teenagers. I have lived in this community for 25 years, although kroger is closer , I will continue to spend my money at Publix. Hands down they have superior customer service . Kroger, you need to do better. Train your young people better. Take a page out of Publix and Chick-fil-A handbook.

Placed an order for delivery. Although the items ordered showed in stock, they were not. Don't waste your time. Publix and Walmart will at least update products are out of stock BEFORE YOU ORDER.

Jordan is a confused young man. 2 weeks ago I returned an item without the receipt. He said he didn't need it. He only needed the credit carded used. I went in here tonight (Nov 29, 2024) and he tells me a return can't be done without the receipt. I told him he did it the last time. When did policy change? He says it wasn't him because he's the customer service supervisor and he knows better. He said it was the other guy.
That's a lie. Unless the other guy also is Black, with the same hairstyle and same name, it was Jordan.

It’s 8:30pm, no registers open. Line completely down Aisle 10 for self checkout multiple people in this line with over 40/50 items. It’s 2 girl employees standing at the self checkout counter laughing and talking. I asked for a manager and she proceeds to tell me how she’s been here for 9 hours and it nobody here. First, my question was for a manager not asking how long she been here. Bad customer service but for this company to not even be considerate of shoppers time is completely ridiculous! Then they only have 5 self checkouts open. Poor management.

I shop here regularly for my business and today I had a very cold experience with Jordan who is supposed to be to supervisor.
He rung me up incorrectly for my apples then had me wait for two customers, one rang up $400 worth of groceries before he would assist me as it was almost 8pm and customer service was closed. Once he did assist me, there was no apology or let me help you and sorry for the wait. He just held out his hand for the receipt and then told me the balance will be on my card.
I never say this in person, but I did tell him his customer service could use him improvement and all he said was have a nice day.
Not only did he make a mistake, make me wait, he didn’t even acknowledge it or me. I have lived in the area for five years now and never felt the need to write a post like this until now.
