Maybe they'd be able to have passionate teachers who want to stay if they weren't paying $10 an hour. The Director can't even live off $10/hour and expects the teachers to. You can't complain about not having passionate teachers when you're not even ensuring a liveable wage for them to take care of themselves.

I've visited a few times to consider enrolling my son but there is always a waiting list which says that this is a good place. I toured the school and the staff was extremely friendly and the environment was wonderful. I hope a spot opens up soon.

Both of my children were in great care at TLS. I always felt like they were cared for in a loving family way. I appreciate the school and staff for making my children's preschool years great!

My son attended the school for summer camp. He loves it. When I pick him up he immediately talks about how much fun he had. The staff is really nice and professional.

THEY CARE MORE ABOUT THEIR MONEY THAN THE KINDS, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE DR. FOUNTAIN IS NEVER WRONG, IF YOU TRY HER SHE WILL SEND YOU A CEASE AND DESIST LETTER. YOUR KIDS WILL COME HOME WITH BRUISES AND THEY WILL CLAIM IT WAS NOT IN SCHOOL. YOU HAVE TO SPEND SO MUCH MONEY ON SHIRTS IN ORDER FOR THE KIDS TO GO TO ANY FIELD TRIP OR PE.

Dr. Fountain is VERY unprofessional and has a problem with apologizing when she has done something wrong. My daughter was late to school one morning because of a flat tire, i called and spoke with an employee to advise them of the situation and how she would be arriving late. Nursa gives me the “okay mom”. Once she gets to daycare Dr. Fountain turns my baby around because it was after 9:30am. I understand her policy, yet things happen in life that are out of our control sometimes. My baby feelings were so hurt because she was actually excited about school this particular morning. I called to speak with Dr. Fountain, she says to me, her employee stated "no, they would not accept her" THAT WAS A LIE!!! and Nursa also told a lie that I hung up on her. There was a MISCOMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE DIRECTOR AND HER EMPLOYEE and because of that my daughter was turned around, missed 8 hours of learning but yet they still expect us to pay for that day. I do not think the situation was handled properly yet professional at all. Very unprofessional, unapologetic and all around RUDE! She is in business for the money not because she cares for your child! Another incident took place before where Dr. Fountain messed up the order for my baby school t-shirt, instead of admitting to the mistake first she tries to put it on me and then says to me" you know what, I'm just going to have to apologize" as if that was too much to do, as if i was in the wrong!! The Learning Station is a great establishment but the owner and her employee's Nursa, Faith as well need to consider a customer service class!!!! Beware!!!!!

I absolutely love this center! My daughter has been attending this school since August and she has blossomed into a social butterfly. The teachers are amazing and caring and the Director Dr. Fountain is so hands on. Dropping my child off in the mornings are easy knowing my child is in good caring hands. I am proud to say that I have a child that attends The Learning Station. It feels good to have quality care in my backyard.

When I first came to the Learning Station I was new to the area. Nervous about my son attending daycare because of my past experiences. Dr. Fountain has been wonderful to me. Through my drastic life changes all the way up to now. Needless to say I have two children at this facility now. I loveeeee The Learning Station !!!!!! The staff are great to my children on the caring side and also in the education aspect of things. Dr. Fountain is always coming up with different things and ways for the children there, and my children come home with smiles and always saying we going back to school tomorrow mommy. She ensures that this is not just a daycare but an establishment to make sure the children are learning. She has an open door policy where I can come to her about anything and for that I couldn't be more grateful.

I would not recommend this facility at all.......I was a loyal and faithful parent....Both my kids went there....My son from 4 months and my other son from 3 years old.......She is rude and doesn't keep her word.....But what goes around comes around.....She is money hungry......She charges the people with government assistance ( CAPS) the max so she can get every penny..... Then charges the parents who actually pay.....a lower price.....and that's facts........PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS THERE.......I even know of a person who help her get one of her employees fired so she wouldnt have to pay unemployment........Not to mention the cook or nutritionist as she say......Had an affair with a married man......Who by the way was a parent at her establishment and she knew.....

Wow! I was very surprised to read some of the comments in the reviews. I have nothing but positive things to say about The Learning Station parents and their staff. As an educator in the public school arena for the past 15 years, it is always difficult to please each and every family as it relates to the Honors Day Program. In fact, invites are only issued to those students receiving awards, and a limited number of tickets are given to each family. Believe it or not, there is a rubric associated with each award and unfortunately every child does not qualify for every award. As a parent, I too, wish there was a way to create an award for every child, however, that's just not realistic. I have confidence that my child is a scholar, and I don't need an award to validate that fact. I am confident that my child will shine in whatever educational environment he is placed in, far surpassing most of his peers. And I have to be honest, I have The Learning Station to thank for that! Just sharing my 2 cents. #obamaout #dropsmic

In regards to Sharona Fountain ignorance. I Jamary Jefferson attended honors day and it was ridiculous me and my family had no seating and we came to honor my child for her excellence. She has worked hard all year and is very intelligent. Now ignorant Fountain gets on here and makes a suggestion stating I don't read to my child or help her with homework. I dare you. I read with my child write with her perform sight words we work on computers iPads abc mouse etc. I see her progression even if hags like Fountain decides to not acknowledge her because of issues we had previously. I am not the only parent who was upset about this. I'm not the only parent who have issues with her. This is the ignorance I'm speaking of now the director of The learning station Sharona Fountain once again is now insinuating my child is not getting the help she needs at home and insulting my parental skills. Her son received a reward for every category he attends the school in a smaller class which is kindergarten. She claim the awards were split equally but I don't understand why would you not think of ratio. Her child did not earn that he was given that because he is hervsoon and she wanted him to feel special that night. Why every child couldn't be special that night. Be fair all around the board teach your son life skills. BTW I AM INVOLVED IN EACH AND EVERYTHING LOLA IS INVOLVED IN. Never missed a conference and attended field trips so speak facts SHARONA FOUNTAIN. Never try to be little my family that's what you not gonna do.

The Learning Station is a childcare center that has taken the time to observe, collect data, and form a strategic plan that involves the community, stakeholders, parents and the school system. Dr. Fountain and the TLS staff exemplifies excellence. I speak as a former parent, community member and school employee of various metro area school systems. TLS has had such a postive impact on my family. As a parent I was nervous about the transition from childcare to K-12. TLS had my child prepared over and beyond. The teachers and administrators noticed immediately that my child was nutured through a structured learning environment. My child was a leader in his class due to the life skills and lessons that TLS implements such as family style meals, manners and various teaching moments. My child still appreciates the positive impact TLS had on his life. They understand life and that the definition of family looks different from society definition. This is why they offer an outstanding social for everyone yearly such as father and son events, mother and daughter events, spring and fall festivals, grandparent luncheons, parent night out (yes you pick your child up the following morning), and any other holiday or a celebration of learning that you can imagine.Parent/teacher coferences are held to meet each child needs indiviually and to bridge any possible gap between home and school. Everyone is celebrated! TLS is a place where everybody is somebody and your needs are catered to based on your individual ability. The truth of the matter is that as working parents our childcare providers and schools spend more time with our children than we do. That time that TLS has vested in my family has fallen nothing less than remarkable and impressive. I left my child there daily, weekly, yearly knowing that he was in a nurturing learning environment that prepared him for the next level. Some are quick to attempt to make a bad name for others as soon as a situation is not all about our wants. As I stated previously, everyone is celebrated at TLS at some point!!

My nieces attend your school, and I had the chance to attend their honors day program. All staff were very professional and it was a great atmosphere. All the kids knew their Spanish and sight words. Overall, I was very impressed with the school!!

I am very upset with this school. My niece is a child, why would you take your anger out on a child? She is one of the smallest kids in the class and on the class picture she is standing up to da far left side of the picture almost cropped out while litte boys are sitting down. I thought this school taugh you life skills. As a little boy I was taught to open door for woman and if there are no more sits, you give your up for a woman. I just don't understand how you mistreat a child because you and the parent had i misunderstanding. The learning station need to do better seriously.
