  Employee very rude she trying say we need to walk all around to check out and that is why there a sign up 😂 she then she had the nerve to tell me that's not the point after I said I didn't see anyone in the line I think the corporate needs take a visit to this location on ellijay because they are not vary friendly who cares where go line up as long we leave paying that should matter but having all over the store is really non sense this is ellijay some people can't even read

  Dollar general needs to fix this store and treat their employees better. This store is always under stocked and employees are always stressed and rude, trying to run back and forth.

  I come to this location often but I came in today and encountered my grandparents shopping. For the first time since they lost their daughter this past Sunday. And I was shocked at how poorly my grandparents were treated by the cashier…My sister stepped in to help them with their check out process. While they were getting checked out they asked the cashier a simple question about these cups.She replied in a rude tone and told my sister she had already told them the discount was applied. My grandparents don’t know a lot of English but they try their hardest. My grandparents card ended up declining and this made the cashier more irritated. She had a sour face the whole time they were checking out. My grandma then decided to pay in cash the total was 119.92 she gave her an 119 and was working on taking out another dollar when the cashier said “you still need another dollar” in a very nasty tone. I strongly believe her being utterly rude and treating them awfully was racially targeted. Because after they stepped out I was waiting in line and the cashier spoke so nicely to the Americans behind my grandparents. It seemed her whole mood changed after they left. She continued to apologize to everyone in line after they stepped out. I understand working during the holidays is stressful and irritating at times but you should treat everybody the same regardless. My grandparents were nice and patient with her. The cashier ringing them out was fairly new. And overall I am disappointed…

  November 2022 I always use self checkout however i had coupon, they failed to communicate that i could have used Saturday coupon at self-checkout all that time while fat lady customer was arguing about prices. Blame u for not using mobile app, waste ur time.

  Hello to all ?. I'm adjusting my review on our neighborhood DG, on hwy 382, having posted a not so good review 4yrs ago.I have to say,, our current crew works very hard to keep the stock out and available, and to do so with visible attention to the proper organization and placement on the shelves, which makes shopping much better for an ole lady such as I ?. A little humor,, I really have to hide most of my youth and beauty,, for fear of intimidating others ???.Surely, though, it's a great blessing to have these DG stores, so handy . I depend on others for transportation, so it's much better, easier for me to get rides a couple miles down to the DG, than it is to go 9 or 10 miles across town to the big store,, you know, the one working on hiring robots, packing heat, to be our sale's associate.So I give a shout out to the HWY 382, ELLIJAY Georgia, Dollar General Store. Your efficiency is noted and more so, MUCH appreciated. ✨??

  Use to be a good place to come shop; with friendly staff. These days the staff is not helpful at all and they are outright NOT friendly. They seem to express how much they hate their jobs. I am unlikely to come back to this location for a while. Visited the afternoon of -12-28
