I buy has here sometimes. This is a popular spot on the weekends. Boaters stop to get gas and bait and sometimes it's hard to get in.

We stopped here to get propane and gas for the RV. Not only was the entire staff working unable to assist us with a refill of propane, but we had to wait for “big daddy†to arrive so he could fill our propane. Now he did do the job, however it was done incorrectly. They over filled the tank, so as we decreased elevation the gas in our tank expanded. Luckily we noticed this at another fuel stop near Atlanta. Things to consider, they don't know how to fill propane at all. So make sure if you are filling your tank and are expecting to travel further south, I'd recommend to have them fill it to 80 percent maximum. Everything else was as expected except the way they operate a propane filling station. They should consider that not everyone is staying in the mountains permanently. And the recommended filling capacity.

The cashiers are very friendly, they carry minnows and worms and crickets as well as a large fishing tackle selection. The store and restroom are very clean.
