At first, I was struggling with getting help on a watch I was looking for, I ended up ordering it online, and unfortunately it did not fit how I intended. I brought the watch back in, and asked if they were able to help me with resizing. Mrs. Ariel came to help and tended to me. She was so so helpful, and was very kind and helped me with finding the right size even with my indecisiveness. I really appreciate her help and advice, because I probably would have messed up trying on my own, or would have returned the watch I really liked. Thank you Mrs. Ariel for your help and customer service!

I’ve shopped at the North Augusta Belk for years and decided to give the Evans Belk a try. I’ve always seen Belk as a comfy clothing store with Southern charm, great prices, and good quality clothes. Going into the Evans Belk felt like a hostile experience in comparison. The atmosphere somehow was worse than a Goodwill and the floor plan was bizarre. It was difficult navigating the store and after I had found half of what I was looking for, I see racks of slacks just in disarray and so much product misplaced, all-the-while it feels like there’s no one around. The registers that are the most visible are either closed or unmanned and the only one available was buried in a corner in the shoe section.
At the same time, you can hear the manager talking about how there’s so many deals. Presentation of product, customer service, and proper staffing are far higher priorities in retail than walking around with your hands in your pockets and having fun on the intercom. The guy running the shoes section was competent and the staff running jewelry and makeup were fine, but where was everyone else? It’s a clothing store being ran with zero experience in knowing how to run a clothing store. Go to North Augusta instead, 0/5.

This place is the biggest joke I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. The customer service does not exist period. I was in there to inquire as to why an order had not been shipped even though it said that it was shipped and had a tracking number, the post office was never given the parcel. The young man at the service desk acted like he did not want to look up the order even though I gave him the order number. He then called a manger. What showed up is not what I would call a manager. I explained to him what was going on and since the order had not shipped, to go ahead and cancel the order and credit back my account. He said he could not do it, even though another manager told me on Wednesday to wait another day an come back in and they would cancel it. He claimed I would have to call customer service. When I asked him for the number, he claimed he could not give it to me. I then asked him for the number for the corporate office, and he claimed he could not give me that number either. When I asked him if he could do anything besides stand there, he just gave me a blank stare. This clown's name is George. He claimed he was the sales manager. I asked for the store manager, George said with much glee that he was the highest manager in the store today! Well, if that is the case, Belks is in major trouble. No wonder the store help is sorry. they learn it from the managers. The only reason I had to order online is because as usual, this store never has anything in stock. Well George old buddy, I did find a number for the corporate office and I did file a customer complaint against you. I hope they fire your sorry self before you run off any other customers. You sir are an idiot and if you worked for me, I would have fired you on the spot! Now I have to wait another seven days to see if Belks will get off their dead butts and ship my item before I can cancel it and get my money back. This is not the Belks I remember from 50 years ago. I will never spend another dime with them. GOOD JOB GEORGE! HAVE A NICE DAY!

Bobby was excellent customer service, went the extra mile for a customer. Was new to the city for a big event at the Augusta Convention Center. He help with brand and putting an outfit together with shoes. Everyone at the event was impressed . Life saver thank you Bobby

I always thought Belks was for old people ( no offense, I am old) but I recently discovered Belks is a pretty nice store.
I had a $25 gift card and I purchased a small air fryer and it was on sale and after my gift card it was only $2.. can't beat that deal.

The guy that gets on the loud speaker is awesome. No other store has someone like him. You can tell he is a team player & helpful to other staff members. Very encouraging and I’m sure he’s boosting morale. Thanks for bringing a giggle during my shopping experience. Reminds me of myself-sounds like a radio personality.

My personal experience was great! I love the shoe department, I always can find shoes that I love and are my style. Bobby and jona are my favorite workers there. I’m always happy to see them when I come by to shop!!!
