A big shout out and thank you to Andre and the team at the Publix Riverwood pharmacy. They really went the extra mile in helping me get the best price for my prescription. Not only that - they did it without me having to ask them. They looked at my prescription history, called the doctor and saved me over $300! They were very fast filling the meds too! Thank you Publix Riverwood Pharmacy Team so very much!!

I have used this pharmacy for years and I have never had to deal with an issue as bad as this. I apologize in advance but they have denied me my medication that my doctor called in and now I am very ill, I don’t wish this on anyone. My pain medication is take as needed. I have had several surgeries and accidents racing through my life and I work full time. I have several bones broken and degenerative bone disease, LSS, I hurt all the time. I hate being on these drugs because once you start you are dependent. And a day without them makes life very difficult and this is something that is very serious to one’s life. I noticed I was going to be out of my meds early this month due to overworking lots of weekends. My doc keeps close tabs on his patients, I had text him and knew he was going out of town for the holidays, and let him know I was going to run out. He text back don’t worry, I will send the pharmacy how many days you would be out to get you to the next refill.Well that evening after he had let me know that the script was called in, I was so thankful, I called Publix and they said it would be ready in 30min.I live 45 mins away. I drove there and when I got there the cashier said they didn’t have anything. So I explained everything to him and he went to talk to what I can only guess as being the manager. I was listening closely so I could explain if there were any details I could help with. The pharmacy manager who I will be putting all their information up denied filling me the script, told me it was too early, I explained that I spoke with my doctor and he was okay with me getting more to help me out. The doc sent in one weeks worth, and the pharmacy said I couldn’t refill until one week. I begged and pleaded. This happened on a Thursday night and the doc was out of town and their office closed on Fridays. The pharmacy manager said they had to have the scrip verified. So I had to get the doc to call in for some reason they wouldn’t let me know. I then offered to show where the doc and I text so she could see that the doc sent them in. And she acted as if she could care less, she never tried to explain why she needed to gave it verified. I was upset and distraught. It’s been 4 days and I have still not had my meds. I am sick and I felt completely treated like trash by this pharmacy on this matter. This is definitely this pharmacy’s issue, they had all the info they needed to fill the script. My refill was in one week and the doc sent in exactly one week worth. Isn’t it the doc that decides how many pills the patients need, well this pharmacy manager decided she was in charge of how many meds u was going to take. I will never use this pharmacy again. Honestly I have never been more humiliated and treated like a criminal. She didn’t even care that I was going to not have my meds, it was actually very discomforting knowing that she is in a position like this where she can deny someone there meds, very unprofessional and thus is an instant where you want to have a good relationship with your pharmacy, I thought I did, all the years I’ve came here and this is the time I really needed them. I will never go there again.

I already love love love Publix, but this is my favorite Publix store EVAHHHHH.When I walked in, it was like "ahhhhhh". This store is so clean it looks like you can eat off the floor. Their selection of products is AMAZING. The staff are friendly and super super helpful. And there are the other things that make Publix a wonderful store - the bakery (I've even flown from Texas to Georgia just for that wonderfully delicious buttercream), the deli, the meat department, and their selection of ready-to-go foods like salads and iced tea. My only complaint (and this is not about this store, but Publix in general) - I really hate that you stopped making cheesesteaks on the grill, and that some of the cakes are now made in a facility instead of in the store. The cheesesteak in the "convection oven" just isn't the same. It just tastes like a warm roast beef sandwich.Publix is a little more pricey that other grocery stores, but it's often worth it. Keep up the great work, Publix.

My husband ordered the prettiest birthday cake for me from this bakery . It was delicious and beautiful !! So pretty and old fashioned with pastel colors . It was not a cheap looking and tasting sheet cake with unsightly colors or weird art . I loved it with superb writing and floral decorations . It was such a great surprise! He got me the round two tier with lots of roses done in pinks white and mint green . They do a great job. Also the nice caucasian lady put lots of icing on my sweet rolls to make them extra yummy. She is very nice and attentive and the best worker there besides the lady who decorated my cake. She is the go to person if you want a real answer or service .Now I go back often to get sweets because of her. Oh and the apple pies are great and I don't even usually eat apple pie ! They put them on sale sometimes and wow they are great warmed in the microwave for 40 seconds or so. Go to the bakery when the real staff are there , After hours the other lady from the wing and hot food area covers for the bakery but she gives poor responses to my questions and tells me she doesn't know or to come back during the day. This saved me a lot of money because i ended up not ordering a 45 dollar graduation cake because she acted too lazy to check for a price. I baked for the celebration. On a prior celebration the same lady would not readily give me information on sandwiches . She takes long breaths and mumbled as though she was bothered by my inquiry . Instead of giving me info she answered with few words so I would have to ask every tiny detail. I gave up and got food to go from elsewhere . I did get wings because a young nice boy helped me and cooked them so I could get more flavors . I love this bakery although the one lady employee seems like she is passive aggressive in providing information and service in general. Why have her cover the area when she obviously hates doing so and she conveys the wrong impression to customers. The other sandwich people are nice and the sandwiches are the best . Very good flavors and bread is fresh.

This is the best grocery store in the area and worth going the extra few minutes to shop. Being from Florida I am a fan of Publix anyway and they've yet to disappoint. They have great deals, are clean, have a wide variety of fresh produce and meats and the absolute friendliest employees!! When I was walking in I was carrying my four month old in my infant carrier and my three year old was being a tad difficult due to no nap. The woman tending to the carts immediately grabbed a car cart upon seeing us and wiped it down for our use, she was very kind. When we entered the store we were greeted with smiles. I stopped by the deli to get cheese and was promptly greeted and told they would be with me in a moment, when the line reached me the gentleman helping was extremely friendly and helpful. After helping he made sure there was nothing else we needed and we went on our way. Several times when walking through the store I was stopped and asked if I needed help finding anything, which I didn't but I definitely appreciated!! If you're visiting the area it's definitely worth shopping!

The sub sandwiches at this location beats every other so called sub shop! The bread is amazing and you can customize the sandwich as it is being built! I spent a lot of time in New Jersey as I was growing up and this store gives Jersey sub shops a run for their money! I recommend the Italian with extra Provolone!

Since the beginning of the pandemic, I have purchased from time to time items out of stock at other stores at Publix through Instacart. The reason why I have been using Instacart to get Publix products is to get contactless delivery. As stated within the Instacart application, their prices are higher than when goods are purchased in person at the store. Pre-COVID-19, I used to buy a few items (Great Grains cereals, fancy dark chocolate, brown rice, dried black beans, etc.) there from time to time, but never used them as my primary store.

Publix always has the best subs and the best bakery items. They tend to carry hard to find specialty items as well. Sometimes their prices are a little higher than other stores, but you're paying for quality!

Publix has THE best ready to eat fruit! HANDS DOWN! Find them bowled up or in a ready to eat parfait in the produce section. California rolls are $5 on Wednesday's. It truly is a pleasure shopping at Publix! The workers greet you wherever you are in the store and they actually notice YOU as the shopper, the consumer! Music, atmosphere is always pleasant and never overly crowded. There's even a senior citizen recognition! Prices are fair but the quality is even more amazing. Keep up the stellar service Publix!
