Regions is a good bank. I've been with them a few years now. I rarely have to physically go to the bank, but this one is close to where I work. They're always friendly, & I've never had a negative experience.

I am livid with Regions Bank as a whole. The branch manager refuses to return calls and they will hold your mobile deposits for more than a week. I will definitely be removing my funds and closing my account as soon as possible.

I have been banking with Regions at the Washington Rd Evans branch for the past 2 years. Everyone there is very helpful and friendly, but I have to mention Sonja Gollmer by name. She is exceptional and goes above and beyond expectations. I have had several complicated issues that she has been able to sort out and she is always professional and efficient. 5 STARS!!

Because of this branch I will be closing my regions account. I called to ensure I was able to pull out a large sum for a purchase. I was told by Heather that they did indeed have the funds, however she was not comfortable releasing my money to me. This was due to the fact that I don't normally bank there and the transfer had just went through from my savings this morning. I am in the Army and can't always go to the branch where I opened my account (IN FLORIDA!). She then said she would speak with the banker and call me back. Instead of doing this, she had a completely different branch call me and tell me they didn't have the cash on hand for my withdraw. This was completely unprofessional, to pass me off and not deal with the issue. Second, she didn't know who Goldman Sachs was!! (This is where I keep the majority of my money as it's a high yield savings and is where the transfer came from) She asked, with a slight attitude, "well is that an account YOU have?". My online banking shows the transfer as complete (not pending) and to be told by a TELLER they aren't comfortable giving me MY money is the worst thing a bank could do in my opinion and makes me think we are living in the 1920's. Regions is simply the WORST bank I have ever dealt with (and this is saying a lot as I've had a Wells Fargo account). The only reason I still use them is because my very WONDERFUL bank Chase does not have a branch close to my duty station. I'd rather drive the 2 hours to Atlanta than to have to deal with Regions ever again after this. You just lost a customer and I hope others see this and think twice about banking with Regions.
